I remember watching this over and over when I was a kid, my mum got so tired of it that she tried to hide it away but I found it and just kept watching it over and over.

I feel so old reading all you youngsters' comments, and I'm 25! This movie was a joy to watch, especially for budding fantasy fanboys (like myself), Kayley's naive but brave spunk, Garret's cynicism and blunt attitude, and the 4th-wall-breaking antics of Devon & Cornwall; this was a -FUN- movie, I don't see why anyone needs to criticize it. Just accept it for what it is: a fantasy romantic adventure about accepting yourself and striving to do your best.

What blows my mind is that this film flopped budget was 40 million earning was 38.- - million. I have seen much worse and not to mention the cast and the music!!! Omg it was perfect 👌 so not a failure I still have my original vhs 📼

I haven't seen this but I want too. I am just happy to see they have a hero with a disability. I teach special needs and to have someone blind in a children's movie is awesome.

I watched the movie for the first time, some hours ago. It was good. I remember, in 1998, there was a Chewing Gum of Argentina called "Bazooka" which it had Foil Figurines to collect in a figurine Album. Or maybe it was another Candy, but I'm sure it was about the movie.

Their are things that arnt really explaned. 1: Why did the chicken Changed from good to evil (proberly got pissed off by the villian) 2: why putting Excalabar sword back in, and Healed everyone. and it did heal everyone that's Amazing its like the worlds first healing sword, and if it did head everyone WHY DIDNT IT HEAL GARRETS BLINDLESS. those arent explanedable.
