Definitely not too long a video, at least for me. Long form videos like this are fine because I’m usually multitasking and it’s easy to drop in and out. Glad to see you on here again.

Thank you for answering the 'file data management' question. I have been thinking about cloud storage for a while but it seems that you've nailed it on the head... there is no 'easy' way to archive unless you spend time, money and effort on a tape system or redundant hard drives. Something that's always on my brain every month or so.

I’d like to add one thing to the back button focus discussion. For Fuji, I’ve found I can have focus tied to the shutter button and back button focus available instantly by setting focus to the rear dial (or another button), and then using the focus mode switch to set the camera to manual focus whenever I want back button focus, single or continuous for focus tied to the shutter. Hope that helps someone out.

Thanks man for answering my question. I am VERY Happy to see you back here !!! A little over a year ago I watched the documentary you filmed for Fujifilm in Japan, I started watching it because I liked the the cinematography and the tone (and I like watching documentaries in general) , it was really the first time I was paying attention to Fujifilm at all , and was so intrigued with what I saw that I started doing a lot research and that is right around the time the Fuji x-t4 got announced , and I preordered it on day one. I have not used my Sony a6400 ever since. THANK YOU !!! Prior to that I would only shoot video, but because of the film simulation (classic chrome in particular) I started taking pictures which is something I never did with my Sony , I had tried once but it looked really bad lol so. All that to say that I love you man (no homo) , I love what you did for me, and I am glad to se you back on your feet brother. And it's Organism-x btw. For the run and gun lenses, I ended up buying the Kamlan 28mm 1.4 manual focus lens, and I love it sooo much that I just got the 50mm 1.1 and those what I used for video, and I keep my fuji lenses for fotos . Works great! 👍

I was a Nikon photographer and I just moved though all the models. D1, D2X, D3X ..... but one day I used the Fuji X-E1. And even as a smaller camera system, it kind of talked to me. I took more and better pictures..... now with the X-E3 I just love it. The way you use the Fuji system is just great. (The X-E4 though is not for me..... )

Blade runner, great movie indeed. Just like movies, I can't also name 3 favorite musics....Music is my religion, it connects people in such a beautiful way. Also I am so eclectic in my taste...my listening also depends on the mood I am. Books also...I guess art works like that for me. :) So many beautiful and creative stuff out there to name just a few!

Hi Palle! - so great your back!!! - I love your approach on explaining things very much and enjoy your focused presence!! You always remind me, that knowing technic basics is not the worst, but they are just a vehicle to express ourselves and to tell the story, we wanna tell...!- although I struggle with technical limitations myself very often...like having all the batteries fully charged, when it comes to shooting...;-)). You teach us, that it's all about carving out a crafted footage that comes from the heart !! -and Fuji gave us some great tools...! All the best and thanks a lot for your work!!

On the topic of inexpensive teleprompters, I can share that at work (a nonprofit) we bought one from Glide Gear, and it was so simple I bought one for myself later. I had not realized at first that the glass will cause you to lose some light (so that the glass can reflect the text properly), about 2/3 of a stop I think, so that is something to adjust for.

2hr video? sounds like a video for the podcast channel you are guested in with your other photography friends :D Thank you again for doing this QnA and hope to see more video from you in the future - interested in video production and producing documentaries and general video creation with the fuji. side question - asking if there's ever a work flow where one use 1 X-mount camera with 1 GFX camera for 2 perspective video like interview - then when run and gun video would be on the X-mount camera and photography will be the GFX camera. What are your thoughts or possibility? (im just dreaming for fun here)

Love the look of this video! Was this filmed with the XT4? I'm really drawn to the 'Fuji look', but am also really leaning towards the Panasonic S5....... I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. I'd shoot family photos, travel photos, but also will use it to film tutorial videos for my KZfaq channel.

It was shot with the Fujifilm X-T3 on a tripod, with the 16-55 f/2.8. The XT4 is definitely a step up in terms of usability and the IBIS is just amazing.
