Thank you for sharing this tip. I was about to try gluing on a half of 3/4" coupling and not convinced that it would work. Your tip works much better and saved me the cost of a slide repair coupling.👍

Can you use primer & glue just to be sure it holds?

Don't you have to use the purple liquid first, and then the sticky white liquid?

Most companies don’t use primer anymore. Today is glue is hot enough to weld the two pieces of plastic pretty well But for a peace of mind, I do use the purple primer for main lines.
