Nice lesson. The relative minor of F major is D minor, so the neat effect of shifting a major chord up a minor third is to change the tonality of the previous D major to D minor; sometimes referred to as modal interchange.

Yup! At the end of the video I talk about the bass a bit as I always get asked about it! It’s such a cool design.

@@HuwFosteragreed. Body shape and 2+2 headstock must have inspired early Wals. And Fender didn't do double P until early 80's i believe.
