We first saw Rahul’s all wheel drive Mitsubishi at last year’s King of the Street Ballarat where the car fared quite well. Power comes from a built 4G63 boosted but a Garrett Gen2 turbocharger. The factory 5-speed gearboxes are not known to cope well at high horsepower in stock form so the switch has been made to a built 3-speed Auto sourced from a Mitsubishi RVR and backed by a TCE Torque converter. This time out at Calder Park the Lancer was unfortunately suffering from a gear selection issue, but still managed a solid result.
