TV used in this video: Phillips 65” 4K TV purchased on Black Friday for $279.00
40.6 lbs 57”x36”x10”
The first TV that I put on this was a Samsung 55” TV. It was not 4K and probably weighed about 25 lbs. I could only watch it in full up or full down position. I would buy the mount that supports 40-63” if you have a 55” or less (there are three versions of this TV mount for different TV sizes). The other thing that I noticed when i had the 55 on it was you could see the mount much more easily, on the top at least.
Once I got my 65” 4K, this mount was perfect for weight and size. Well can’t say perfect, but with the wood shims that I added it has worked out great. You can do these shims with just a hand saw and drill. You probably don’t even need to paint.
This mount is a little more expensive than others BUT if you wait until it goes on sale (i bought mine for $99.00), then it is a little cheaper. Thank you for watching and please consider subscribing to my channel and give this video a like if you got something out of it!

Make sure you tv is heavy enough. If it is less than 44 lbs then it will not stay down. I liked this mount but updated with an electric version where you cannot see the hardware. Here is the video on that one. Little more expensive but well worth it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b9eJd7Rep6iVpmw.html

If your TV is too light then it will go back up. Let me know if it works. Check instructions for weight limits. Can you mount this on one center stud? My fireplace has odd measurements between studs. There’s one right down the middle, and the closest to either side are 19” on center to it.
@how2q

If i remember right (i replaced this one with an electric one), you should be able to set mount slightly off-center to grab stud at least on one end. Wish I could be of more help. Search flip toggle on home depot for what I recommend for drywall mounting

Go to about 7:45 of this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/irxmo8yE0dLag6c.html This is the actual install video. You need to adjust tension of mount for the weight of your TV. Make sure you TV falls within limits of weight requirements. I had a "smaller" TV on this one that was under 40 lbs (if i remember right that was the lightest you could use), it would not stay down. Double check instructions for limits.

Yes…it should fit. Biggest issue for me was weight. Make sure your tv is heavy enough. Sounds strange but i had a light tv and it wouldnt stay down. If i remember correctly it needs to be over 40 lbs. i replaced this mount w an electric one by vivo. Check out my channel for that video and i also made another video on the one you watched that includes the install. More details in that video that may help you.
