Yes the night safari is run by the Skukuza camp so you must go through to the camp reception in the park to book it and then the ranger/guide will come through to the hotel reception to pick you up

Thanks 🙏🏼 I would say trying to predict the weather is going to be very hard. There’s been I think 3 very rainy seasons in a row. I was in the park in February 2021 after the floods and then in the northern parts of the park in February 2022 again after some heavy rains. I would say it depends on your luck but February and March are the rainiest months most years.

Hi there. If you do not have a car there are a number of possible options. There are game drives run by the park itself and will cost between R270 and R380 (last years pricing) per person depending on the drive chosen. The options are morning/sunrise, afternoon/sunset and night with night being the cheapest. You can enquire at the front desk and ask them to help book. Routes may vary but because you are with other guests (up to 30) the Sanparks guides usually stick to the main routes and you could have repeats. If for instance there is an active hyena den close to the Kruger Gate all the drives will probably go past the same den sight as most guests will not be doing all the drives on any day. There are also external providers who offer trips into the park either on a 3 hour or 6 hour basis (usually includes lunch). I don't have prices for those but i think budget around R700 for 3 hours and R1800 for 6 hours. Again, routes could overlap/repeat. The last option is to hire a car in Skukuza. A small hatch back will cost about R500 per day to hire and then you have the freedom to explore at your own pace and on your own routes.
