I'm a week into owning the PXL Live, and I figured I'd give a brief run through of making pedal changing programs. www.gregsguitar... www.joyoaudio.c...

coolest demo of this thing i have seen so far. no lame jokes, pro gear and straight forward explanations. Hope to find one this simple for the PXL-PRO, the manual is a joke.

thanks much. I agree, the manual was a little light.

Picked one of these up for $20 just as a Chanel selector for my amp. Didn’t work that well as that but now knowing what it can do I think I got a pretty dang good deal.

Good quick simple programming demo, straight to the point no pissing about having to watch how great you think you can play, cheers got what I needed to know quickly, makes a change.

Really great demo- thanks! I assume you can't change the order of the loops like you can in the ES5, for example.

I want to have everything running into the front of the amp how did you bypass the loop 2😆 to go the front of the amp

Hi nice explanation! Have you experience any kind of issue with the presets in terms of midi and triggers? I have read from a lot of users that after a couple of months of use, when making changes in the first presets (bank 1) in terms of midi configuration, it also changes the configuration in the lower presets (bank 6 for example). I was thinking on buying one but I don´t want to waste my money cause I'll be using it mostly for changing presets on the mobius and timeline. Thanks for your time

if i want to run straight into the amp and bypass the effect loop like you did, but have pedals run to "loop 2"... which output do you use on the PXL? can you still access pedals that are plugged into loop 2 without using the effects loop?

I would love to see how you use the Midi features on your m9. I just picked one up myself and programing it seems like a daunting task.
@GregsGuitarLessons4 жыл бұрын
sadly, I never actually used the midi to control the m9.

what kind of plugs are you using in and out of the pxl here?

I know this was a few years ago now, but do you by changes know the chord structure you're using @3:57-4:20, you play a few chords and it sounds like you're capo'd 1, but you might be in a drop tuning as well, it's hard to tell. could you advise on what you're playing it sounds so awesome!

Sounds like a minor 7 to me

Hi there. Great demo. I have a question.. hope this makes sense... Can I for example use the trigger to skip from having the clean channel of amp with delay and reverb to the distortion channel of amp with no delay and reverb with just one switch??
@GregsGuitarLessons7 жыл бұрын
WhiteLionParade it does have 2 ctrl jacks for use with channel switching

Was wondering if anyone watching can help. I am trying to use a 4 cable system into this pedal. If I have front of amp and effects loops connected, I get an open circuit buzz. If either are disconnected it goes away. Just bought it and fear there could be a problem with the pedal.
@GregsGuitarLessons5 жыл бұрын
I'm wondering if it's a ground loop. if you can, check out the ebtech hum eliminator. it's magic. perhaps it would solve the issues.
@davidchapman63125 жыл бұрын
Thanks Greg - I experienced a similar hum with my Bassbreaker 15W until I bought two truly isolated Voodoo Power Supplies for my board. I'll check it out but I think I have a dodgy loop switcher.
@xRuxspin9 жыл бұрын
hey any pxl live experience with line level pedals or pedals with multiple buttons like a Strymon Big Sky or TC Electronic Nova System?
@GregsGuitarLessons9 жыл бұрын
xRuxspin negative. it's basically still as-is from this video!
@jaramosk9 жыл бұрын
Hey Greg! Thanks for sharing. I am a little confused on which switcher to get, either the PXL Live or PXL PRO. Do you know what's the difference between these two?
@GregsGuitarLessons9 жыл бұрын
Jesus Ramos sadly i don't. i love this one though!
@ChadVanHalen51509 жыл бұрын
+Jesus Ramos Not sure if you've found the differences out yet since it's been 4 months... But the Pro and the Live are the exact same thing, except that the Pro has 4 trigger outs and the Live has 2 with MIDI capabilities. So if you're using MIDI you want the Live, if not probably the Pro since it has more trigger outs
@marper88289 жыл бұрын
Sorry man, are you using one power supply for all the pedals? I need to power up the M9 and the PXL together. Any suggestion? thx
@GregsGuitarLessons4 жыл бұрын
it was a voodoo labs pp2+ and the courtesy outlet.
@catjive29 жыл бұрын
Did you end up hooking the m9 and doing patch changes with it? I'm really looking into this pedal for that main reason. Also any chance you messed with channel switching as well?

I did not. upgraded to ES8.
