I spray alcohol into the label and wipe off. Easy peasy! But baby wipes sounds great too! The spray alcohol I bought at dollar tree in the medical supplies aisle. 💕💕💕💕

Alcohol just melted all the glue into the plastic box rather than keeping it on the label.

I still had some stickum left. I mixed about a tablespoon of baking soda with about a tablespoon or slightly less of cooking oil. The baby wipes did soak down all the was through though. And in the craft room, the baby wipes are excellent to clean surfaces of polymer clays and the like when working with these products. If used right away-you can’t leave until your next project in a few days or weeks.

Well, I still had stickum even after the baking soda/oil mix. I baby wipes again. It definitely took a lot of remedies!

Jean, couldn't you use a wet washcloth instead of a wet wipe? Just curious. I've used alcohol in the past, too.

I'm trying to find how's to remove price tags from alabaster. Some years ago I had a beautiful trinket box made of alabaster, I had it in my bathroom, and after a few months I realized the protective clear coat started to peel off, I'm afraid to use anything that'll ruin the finish.
