I love using the MSQC flange binding. It has a beautiful finish. I held out a long time but RA has my hands very crippled up and hand sewing binding was all but impossible. Now, I wouldn't use any other method.

Shame we couldn’t have seen a run through of joining a couple of those hexagons 🙁 Wonderful quilt 🇬🇧

Have to agree, fear once held me back from a few techniques and now that I've learned those, I have so many design options open to me.

Welcome to my world. I've always been forgetful but its ridiculous. Just found your blog and it looks very interesting. They are a ray of sunshine in these dreary days.

I am using elmer's glue sticks and ironing the binding in place before I sew from the front to machine quilt that binding on quickly and accurately. I use the 4th corner binding trick for the ends...Also keep a large collection of ready to go bindings in plastic bags stashed in a huge bright green shopping bag. Yes so I can find it easily. It keeps me finishing quilts more easily. 4 this week. Yup I started this after I realized I had 4 nearly finished quilts just needing a binding and that felt silly.
