Nice one do you think it can more powerful than substance designer, is Quixel mixer the reason for the Substance team to release Substance Alchemist?

I definitely think it can be. Its still in its early phase so we'll have to see what happens later! That im not too sure about that. I think Substance is just trying to pump out new tools.

I like the idea to work with these 2D maps but the problem is I need to get these maps from somewhere.

You can easily bring these height maps from your own sculpts from zbrush or any other application. Only used a pre-existing high map because it was easy. I will definitely have a new video that shows me bringing new stuff from scratch that I have brought into mixer.
