After recharging in Carnarvon we head north to the famous blowholes at Quobba for our next adventure. Cheap off grid dune camping, soft sand and shore based oyster catching made this one a spot to remember. Check it out.

Now a landcruiser recovering a Nissan Patrol, now you need to get a Nissan Patrol recovery vehicle sticker and always keep a tally. Now if you come to Exmouth, which I think you may have already been, will check later vids for that, and if you get bogged I will gladly come and recover you in my Jeep.

Haha thanks for that George. Any vehicle is only as capable as its driver my friend! 9 times out of 10 the correct tyre pressure will get you through anything on the sand, even in a Jeep ;) Hope you enjoyed the vid.

@@ourrealitytravels hahaha, I agree 100% it's all a bit of fun, but still love recovering Toyotas and Patrols. People just need to a little research before they go 4 Wheel Driving, in most cases it fine, but people have lost some nice vehicles up here over the years. The main thing is you keep enjoying your trip and I'm enjoying it as well.

Would love to have seen how you hitched the car up, we wouldn't know what to do.

If you don't have a proper snatch hitch then the best option is to remove the normal tow bar tongue and put the strap through the locating pin (I did this on my car and theres in this video). If snatching the vehicle to be recovered from the front it should only be from a rated tow point. Never wrap around the bullbar, I've seen these come off in spectacular fashion! Also as a recovery vehicle you should never snatch a car in reverse unless no other option. Hope this helps.
