ribs look awesome. do you no rice much of a difference compared to laying them flat?

i was wondering if a shallow baking pan with a cover would work instead of wrapping the ribs in foil because i avoid using aluminum when i cook..

What a great video Louis. Those Portabello Mushrooms was a meal in itself. Love the drone ariel shots. That vertical Pit Boss is a great little cooker. Love the rebar hanging rod mod. That mod was flashing on & off come do me. LOL Nice looking ribs too. Love how you left the spares spares. Scott's Sweet Memphis is great stuff. All around super video.

Nice cook! That was a 2 for 1 video, Thanks! If I ever do a pellet, I will most likely do the vertical. Both looked great and I will try a version of those mushroom soon!

Good looking meal Louis. That little cooker looks like it’s a keeper. Very versatile. Those ribs looked good and I liked that you seasoned the racks differently. Oh and that sauce looks good lol. John Mantheyjl thank you for watching. You could probably put the mushrooms in the Pitboss on the top shelf - think they would take longer to cook , maybe a 45 minutes instead of the 20minutes it took on the Weber since the kettle was up around 400 degrees and the smoker was at 250

Ribs and the mushrooms looked really good Louis ... That pit boss did a great job on those ribs. The mushrooms with the butter cheese and shrimp excellent. Definitely going to try those mushrooms. Great job Louis Cheers 🍻

Why buy the rebar? Was there an issue hanging them from one of the racks that came with the smoker?

WheelAir Rentals great question - at the time I was working on a hanging system for my UDS and I just cut the rebar to fit in the vertical. After I did my 1st hanging cook I was like - why not just hang off the top rack.

I only hung ribs a few times, but really like the way they turn out. Thanks for the mention too - surely appreciate it. Great idea with the shrimp, i need to give that a try soon :)

Those ribs looked great Louis! The rubs sound great and I know Scott's sauce is. Somehow hanging ribs is really better. And those mushrooms, I'm in. I saw Lasse do his and boy I love portabellos.

I noticed you have three door clamps on your pit boss vertical smoker. How did you get the extra clamps, I've only seen them come with one. thanks

interiormotivescom thank you for watching - I called Pitboss cust. Service and ordered the extra sets. It does void any warranty on the cabinet but it does seal up a lot better.

Thank you for watching. Some say you get a better even smoke flavor by hanging them. My personal opinion is there is no difference other than just a different way to cook them- plus it looks cool hanging there 😁.

You come up and seem like just regular Joe like me trying to make this thing work. I appreciate your straight shooting and simple approach. Just making good food to eat. Thanks
