@@Emerald29 Panis kayo is actually quite confusing even for me. Saying panis at a food means it is spoiled. But saying panis at people means "beat that" or saying that they have no chance at besting you

Saying panis kayo is more of a show of pride or accomplishment about you have done that can't be beaten by others. He used panis kayo in the sentence sarcastically. Saying that you can't beat Filipino technology because even the footbridge gets flooded.

Not necessarily.. Classic means highly regarded over a period of time while original means the first.. For example when you think of Coca-Cola.. Classic would be the kind they served in like the 1960s.. Original would be from early 1900s and would have cocaine in it lol

It's most likely the off center thing, cuz classic vs original, maybe there was a different recipe long ago (classic) but now there's a new recipe used as the normal (original)

something that is classic is technically something that is highly-respected over time (e.g. a classic movie), not the original thing. but emkay hand sees what you mean they basically are the same word in that context

@@squeaky8694 In some context it could mean that, but for this one (not a direct translation) it conveys 'you got nothing on this one!' Fun fact: 'Panis kayo' literally translate to 'you're all rotten' but that's not how we use it. It's a two-word expression conveying the message "this thing is so amazing, you have nothing on it" :)

As nouns the difference between original and classic is that original is an object or other creation (eg narrative work) from which all later copies and variations are derived while classic is a perfect and/or early example of a particular style.
