As a 17 y/o who was five months pregnant, only to wake up bleeding and have a miscarriage in the shower. The first story touches me. I would’ve given anything to keep my baby, but I ended up having to give birth to my five month old baby alone in the shower which threw me into a really bad depression that nearly killed me. To even imagine that someone would want to take my baby from me is unthinkable, all you other teen moms, I feel you, and I hope you make yourselves happy with whatever you do.

That story with Dad who had leukemia hurt my heart. My dad passed from that terrible illness last year after a long battle and all of us family (and friends) would have done anything to ease his pain. He fought to hold on until he reached his and my Mum's 50th anniversary and then we lost him right after. I hope anyone who has a loved one suffering blessings and prayers to get through that struggle.

Here’s my Entitled Parent (not really a parent) story: This happened YEARS ago btw. So my cousins’ family and my family were staying at my grandparent’s house. We were having a good time, enjoying the summer, having dinner, blah blah blah. So, my Uncle decided that he’d take my cousins, my brother, and I on a fun golf cart ride. We all agreed, slipped on our shoes, and got in, and sped off. Now, when my Aunt and Uncle’s family visit our grandparents, they stay in a condo they bought in a little neighborhood near our grandparent’s house. My uncle decided that we could ride on they hills there, since the neighborhood was built on not-so-sturdy land. As we were riding around, cheering and having fun, this white car pulls my uncle over. The man gets out of the car, and, from the looks of it, is pretty mad at us. He calmly asks my uncle to step out of his vehicle. My uncle does so, and the conversation starts. EP (not really lol): What are you doing? This is not a sturdy road, sir. You could seriously hurt these children! MU (My uncle): I’m being very careful with these kids, sir. And this is a smooth road for me to ride on with them. EP: Actually sir, this is a highway (Lol it’s not but ok), and you cannot drive that reckless on a highway like this. Do you even have a license to drive? At this point, my uncle was not having it. Despite wanting to punch this guy, he remained calm. MU: Actually, this is a neighborhood sir, and I have a license to drive this cart. EP: Don’t talk back to me, sir. I need to know your house number so I can notify the police of this behavior. So, my uncle said a random house number, the man bid us a rude farewell, and we left. Now, that’s not all. As we were heading back to the house, my cousin and I spotted a white car heading for us. As it got closer, my cousin recognized the car, and who was it? Highway man! Yep, that’s right! The guy who told us off was following us throughout the neighborhood. So, my cousin told my uncle, who sped up the cart, trying to lose him. Knowing that the guy couldn’t know where we lived, he started driving through some woods and canals, hoping to lose the guy. After 30 minutes of chasing is around the woods, the guys finally gave up and went back. We got home, and told the entire story, and to this day, it’s still one of our best moments to look back on.

So I'm a triplet and when I was conceived one of the nurses went to my parents house after we all left the hospital and sat down with my parents. And explained her situation how her and her lover were struggling to make a baby and that they have been trying for months but had no luck. And she was wondering if she could have one of my siblings. She figured since there was 3 of us that it would be alright if she had one of us. My mom instantly said no and the nurse pleaded with my parents if they could have one of us. After alot of arguing and refusal she left. And we hadn't herd from her since . I'm now 16 years old also my other two brothers and were living pretty well. One thing you can never do is separate children at birth not twins and especially not triplets. Thank you and have a good rest of your day ! :)

for the story of the cancer-dad, when i heared it, i was like "wait. she make her kids do the chores, the dad do all the work, "my house" when she does nothing" ... and i was like : man! my step mom is like that with my dad! crap...

The story about OP's Dad having bone cancer was pretty upsetting. OP, their siblings and their Dad should get a hold of a good lawyer and look into divorce proceedings as soon as possible. It's an absolute certainty that she will not care for him as his condition worsens, so he really should bite the bullet and get on with ditching her sorry arse. OP said that their Mother believes in "personal responsibility", so it's time for her to start taking responsibility for herself. As much as it pains me to say it she's waiting on the inheritance, and I'd bet that she's already made preparations to blow the cash on herself. Hearing about a man who has given so much to bring up his family in relative comfort living in a garage is appalling - he needs someone to fight his corner or else his last few years will be spent alone in a garage, and it sounds like he's too dignified to cause a commotion about it. She's an absolute disgrace - an utter lowlife, and needs to be taken out of the picture. This story goes way beyond an "entitled Mother" story - this is systematic cruelty.

The dad with cancer, that breaks my heart. My boyfriend takes care of me much the same, I’m on disability now but even after 8 years together I’ve never stopped being grateful for everything he does for me. When he got hurt at work, I told him to quit immediately and sold most of my possessions to get us through and took care of him the best I could until he recovered. Hearing that story made me almost cry because all I could imagine was my bf being taken advantage of like that.

As someone who suffers with an incurable, painful disease, that cancer story broke my heart. My husband bought us a NEW HOUSE to make movement easier for me (no stairs, handrails etc).... The idea that someone who should love him is instead acting like he's a burden is devastating. God I hope someone else invites him to live with them 😢

I find it alarming just how many "give me your baby" stories we encounter on here.

Man, that third story.... That puts some of my thoughts to my husband's messes into perspective. He works while I stay at home, so some messes he leaves behind are mostly empty deli packages on the coffee table. That use to annoy me... until hearing the more extreme version of that annoyance. Now I feel bad because that is the direction my thoughts were leaning, so I am going to put a stop to that right now.

3:42 in some way this is similar to Asian particularly Japanese culture. overworked non existing father providing for the family that will die due to overwork but fortunately most of the time doesn't have an entitled wife. But it does show that providing money to the family defeats the purpose of having bonds/memories with the family and knowing what is going on in the house when they are mostly out of sight. I hope they did something to make his life comfortable before he passed on because living in agony for longer with the EM is already hell.

As a Christian man myself, that story about the kid schooling a holier-than-thou Karen *with the Bible itself* was glorious.
