To celebrate 8 years of 'Dotaku Channel' (and 30 milion views), I suggest a big video editing with many trains at Nippori, an incredible 'otaku' spot in Tôkyô.

Such a marvelous and efficient rail system makes it possible for millions of people to live and work in such a densely populated area like Tokyo.

Thanks for sharing. I was at Nippori Station in January and saw this location. I didn't know it at the time that it was a Otaku lookout.

Great spot! During my next trip to Japan I have a 7 hour transfer at NRT, I intended to spend that time in Narita-shi, but this looks like a nice alternative...

Yes Ithink too. You could go very easily at Nippori with Keisei Skyliner. 2 or 3 hours at Nippori and you become a happy man! 'densha' stars in your eyes forever!

This is a great viewing point. From here you can see the Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, Ueno-Tokyo, Takasaki, Utsunomiya, Joban, Keisei main line, Keisei Skyliner, Tohoku/Akita/Yamagata Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, as well as Kusatsu, Akagi, Hitachi, Tokiwa limited express services. Several trains a minute are virtually guaranteed throughout the day.

Yep, definitely one of the best train watching spots in tokyo. :) Yanaka, which is to the left of that bridge is also a very nice, quiet spot to stay. It's nick named either temple-town, or cat-town (depending on who you talk to) with lots of hidden cat art in the main shopping street.
