I tell the atheist they are closer to the truth in knowing God is not real to them than an unsaved religious person with a prideful make-believe belief.

I first discovered Royksopp in 2002 from my mutual DJ/producer friends in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2009 when I moved to Buenos Aires, "Junior" had _just_ come out and it was my go to soundtrack for exploring the city on foot and by subway. Hearing any song from that album puts me right back in South America immediately. For the past 15 years, I've been listening from a small country town on the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. They're definitely one of the "soundtrack to my life" musical groups. I put them up right up there with Radiohead, Bjork, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, etc. when it comes to music from my generation.

@@GabrielDima98 well relatively yeah. i wasn't really being specific but lets say, royksopp often uses at least a minimal amount of shuffle in their groove, and i tend to think that it's always been somewhat of a defining characteristic in there composition. but in this song in particular, they went full on and played notes, accented them, set delays and set sidechain compression all around the off beat and back beat. to make things more complex, cuz hey, they're royksopp...why not, the guys threw in some triplets on the vocal delays like "flowers grow". usually, if you do all these things together in one song, you risk throwing the listener off. sure, i hear this in a edm but the audience is usually too drunk to care anyway as long as the volume is loud enough to make your ears bleed. but here, they pulled it off and in my opinion, it successfully passes for a song that's easy to listen to. i know i'm probably being a bit too analytical, so i'll just say, yeah i think the song sounds amazing!
