If you haven’t then I recommend you listen to the full album in one sitting you’ll see that the starting melody underlies all the tracks and wraps things up in full circle at the end of Mountaineers. For me, that album is masterpiece of the century.

At last someone figured it out. Thanks Adam. I’m not saying they undeniably copied the melody but we’ve musically reached a point of no return in creating melodies and I believe it’s the latter reason behind the similarity between both songs.
