Mekiyah Hazbin Yeah. I mainly blew all my missiles once the two SU-57s started to do exclusively loops on the vertical and I couldn’t get on their six as they would never let off the yoke. Happened again the time I finally beat it, but after trying to go after them, I dove down, had them follow me, pulled a high G turn and shot them down as they dove upon me. The last couple of planes in that mission are super annoying. Got S on the first on hard, A on the second, C on the last.

This is why I love the internet. There will always be someone who knows the scenery in a movie shot on the other side of the world! I am really sorry, that the only time I made it to Korea was on a business trip and I was basically stuck to the hotel for the better part of a week. They did let me out once for an official dinner in a very traditional restaurant and we had this crab that had been marinated in soy sauce for many days. they were trying to blame bureaucracy. and as the movie was trying to portray, usa got the control of the red button, not SK military. this is partially true becos usa held the wartime command of the korean military. there were plans to return the command to korean govt but the last time it was mentioned, the south koreans panick and wanted it to remain in usa control, in 2014. they even had a huge pro-usa rally in seoul. so the deal was delayed.

after the south korean law permits negative portrayal of govt post 2000, there are a lot of movies/pop media riding on this theme. b4 that they had strict censorship, so in most mafia or spy movies b4 that, the bad guys are always north koreans, chinese, or ethnic koreans from china. south koreans gotta be the good guys. after 2000s then there are more on dissing their own govt.

It makes a lot of sense actually, from what I hear. It's a criticism of a potentially harmful part of traditional Korean culture. Apparently, the command structure is/was a very important thing in Korean culture, and bad decisions by the higher-ups have led to bad stuff happening. There was a disastrous ship sinking in Korea a few years back, and if I'm not mistaken, rescue operations were significantly delayed because the higher-ups were indecisive, and not enough people lower-ranked made a move because of it. Supposedly, a request for orders went all the way up to the president, but she was asleep. It snowballed into a massive disaster; crazy stuff. A massive corruption scandal was unearthed, a whole town's worth of kids died, a part of Korean culture was brought into question, the president was being influenced by a cult and was impeached, etc. So yeah.

@@jeffersonmcomen7226 it's more like a double edged thingy rather than just good or bad. on the bright side it is no longer always foreigners being the bad guys while south koreans are always good. it is also a good opportunity to look at some of the darker episodes in their postwar history. but then OTOH the plot can be simplistic, repetitive and boring as well. just blame the bureaucrats in the govt while the heroes can do no wrong, even to the point of constantly disregarding orders like in this movie. it's clearly overcompensating and became really unrealistic. like it or not, the korean society is still a very heirachial type where seniority rules.

Wow, Mover reviewing R2B. Never imagined that coming. From what I remember, the movie bombed due to the cheesy and weak (unrealistic) story line, despite having a big Kpop star in the lead. It was praised for some of the actual aerial footage though. I appreciate how Mover understands it's entertainment, is able to point out some of the unrealistic parts, but still able to enjoy it for what it is. Looking forward to the next movie from Mover.

Do you have at least one scene where a 105 pound girl beats up 3 highly trained, 220 pound Special Forces operators with ease? Are there at least…3 scenes where a strong woman of color puts a man (probably white) in his place and smashes the patriarchy? @@nolankahler6705 Gulf War? Iraqi export version Mig-29s do not have the sensors, radar range, and look down/shoot down capability as the original Russian versions. Iraqi Air Force also do not have AWACS. 4th-generation fighter jets require the pilots to have extensive training, air-defense infrastructure, and constant maintenance and upgrades. @@timothycampbell495 Crazy shit happens. Maybe the Israeli pilot's recollection of the entry altitude was off by 500 feet? Maybe it seemed a lot closer to the ground than it was due to haze, sun angle, even an uncalibrated altimeter. The Egyptian pilot may have had plenty of margin and barely broke a sweat?

6:06 It was a setup. The second Mig was there to prevent the defection. Acted as a defector as well, to buy time and get a lock on the actual defector; the first Mig. That was his mission objective, he wasn't shooting at the F-15. I believe that's what the F-15 pilot was referring to. That is the reason the first Mig was smoking too, probably got hit before reaching the border.
