Seiji Ara is a very skilled driver. He operates the steering smoothly and exploits the NSX Type R at its full potential, that's mostly why he is that fast with a sub-300bhp car.

@@lanesplitter8723 uh, no. because the NSX-R weighs 120 - 300 kg less than the Porsches, and that counts a hell of a lot on all those high speed sweepers and heavy braking zones.

Mostly impressed with the NSX, even it has less Power and Torque, NSX can keeping up good with the other.

ガヤルドスーパーレッジェーラがこんな速いなんて知らなかったな。 弱点のピレリタイヤはP-ZEROロッソでなくSタイヤなやつか。 車重自体は車検証ではノーマルから-70kgの1.5t程度だったか。

I have learned one thing from all these races. GT-R is the most efficient car of any other on track. It might not be as speedy but man it is a corner monster

Everyone knows that a Lambo would not survive 3 laps, the breaks won’t live through it unless they get 10min to cool down. Anyways, love this show and much respect to Japanese engineering, but give Walter Röhrl the GT 3 and these lap times would look very different....

Lol you clearly do not know & have no idea what you are talking about The Porsche Drivers were just very bad, if proper drivers for them were given, they would compete the top 3, so there is no need for a walter Rohrl, plus the Gallardo was a high trim model (Superleggera)

今、改めて観て思うのはデビュー時点ですでに35が速かったってことが如何に凄かったかって話だよね。 800万円を切る車がベンチマークしてた911turboに完勝して格上のガヤルドに惜敗って誰も文句が付けられないでしょ。なんだかんだ言われながらもデビュー時から速かったという事実と、32〜34のGTーRの正当な後継車種と納得させられるフォルムとコンセプトと速さ。これは本当に凄い事だったなと。 初代とは何の関連性も感じさせない新型で残念な結果しか残せなかったNSXとは大違いだよ。 あとカルロス・ゴーン。彼がいなかったらこの35は絶対に存在しなかっただろうね。日本人社長だったら作りもしなかっただろうし、作ったとしても新型NSXみたいな車になってたろうな。 カルロス・ゴーンに再敬礼!

最後の総論で重量(を軽くすること)を考えてほしいと土屋さんは言っているが、開発の水野さんはこの重量は必要不可欠だったというようなことを言ってたはず。その辺の認識の違いが気になるなー!

ニュルみたいな路面のギャプが多いコースは重量増やして設置しておかないと不安定になる

and you really thinka 1k rpm will change something on a small track like that? 1k rmp wont save 3 sec difference on a laptime. youve clearly never drove a car on real track.

@@SubaruProduction It´s a N/A engine, it develops all its power at high rpm, the more high you go, the more power you get. Changing 1200 rpm before will not help....

@@user-oe1ou8tz3x If you ever driven a gt3 or 911 turbo AWD you would know the gt3 is actually slower than a 911 turbo all day and at every track. just pay attention to how keiichi tsuchiya drives the Porsche after the race. 911 turbo should of been closer to the GTR instead of the lamborghini since I Believe the superleggera is RWD and not AWD. the GTR was still going to win since thats why its built for. to embarrass everyone.

Best Motoring was a very precious show where all the cars raced fairly, although some drivers were better at driving certain cars. Porsche is of course fast, but it is more famous for its constant and stable performance.

@@junjun6890 Thats not true at all, Im a huge BM fan and I probabily watched most if not all but in some battles the cheating is just baffling and too obvious. Aside from this one here with the turbo letting GT-R pass, one comes to mind with the dark colored murcielago where he shifted at like 6000 rpm and waited to floor it all the time to let the NSX-r of all cars catch up IIRC. Or there was one where they raced older cars and the guy in the porsche waited in the last lap for the rx7 or maybe it was Silvia s15 or sth. I would remember many more if I thought about it. They do cheat but they still had often great races racing factory cars like no other reviewing house/automotive journalists do and you still get some sense how fast cars are compared to each other..

You can just see how he lets the GT-R pass in the turbo or the gt3 breaking 3x too soon than neccessary. They really should not have shown the pedals for ex. in the turbo because its too obvious how the guy in an awd porsche turbo waits before flooring it in corner (or gt3) until the GT_R comes and how he doesnt even bother to utilize the width of the track. I wonder whether they get told/paid to do it or is it just such strong patriotism.

It's best motoring. Normally Honda or the japanese brands win. There are other videos were you can clearly see that game is sometimes rigged. They also like to give the japanese cars better tires then the competition. But i still love best motoring espeically the touge battles.

best motoring is biased sometimes.if you see the year it was the year that the gtr was launched and they had to make it look good or they paid to do so .in other videos over the years gtrs lose to other cars so we can say that it was a bit biased to push the sales of the new japanese car but best motoring even with that is the best show for cars

so funny seeing the Porsche drivers braking about 100 feet early and shifting 1000-2000 rpms early. GT-R was never fast than a 911 turbo in acceleration or at GT3 around a track. Even funnier seeing a NSX-R competing with any of these cars. oh Best Motoring, you were so entertaining but should never have been taken seriously.

Because 911 turbo has a lot of turbo lag, this track sucks for it´s engine, and GT3 is lighter and more agile, perfect for this track.

NSX sound so like a racing car. GT-R is more normal and to grip. NSX's more fun to drive. I'm sure... Gallardo has good Downshift sound. But performance does not so racing like. Porsche has good brakes and the mid-ding. But the NSX sound is more race car. I would say a 911 is always good. but Honda has with NSX bit the better car.

@@ad-ni5ic 実際はLSD無しのハイパワーターボ(無いけど…)はダメダメだけどね… メカニズムをやたらと語る「湾岸ミッドナイト」なら「フロントヘリカルLSD、リヤ機械式LSDの絶妙なセッティングが決まった車が最高だ!」と言いそう

NSX-Rで凄くないか!? V6 3.2LのNAで大排気量&ハイパワーターボと互角に走れるなんて!! 俺的にはRより国宝だと思う。 同じパッケージングで定常進化して売り続けて欲しかったな(¯―¯)

NSXは軽さとレイアウトで勝ってたんですかね…馬力は直線少ないですしコーナリングで稼げれば勝てそうですね。ターボは低回転数、低トルクの域ではあまり効果がないのではと…。 その設定の有無は良く知りませんがガヤルドSLと条件を合わせるためだと…。 詳しくないので全て推測になりますが、参考までに。

hato ssavure 多分軽さと空力ですよね。いくらターボが低回転が比較的弱いと言っても3.2LNA高回転egよりは低速トルクあると思いますし。さて、この勝負GT2が顔を出したらどうなるんだろうね。

タイヤの違いが大きいです。 外車勢は燃費タイヤとスポーツタイヤの中間みたいなクラスのラジアルを履くのが多いんですが、日本の一部スポーツカーはSタイヤに近いコンパウンドのラジアルを履くのでコーナーが段違いになるんですよ。

stk c30a ナシとは言いませんよ。 速く走るという意味ではタイヤの比重は大きいので、そこで勝つのは重要な事。 ただそういうスポーツタイヤは街乗り性能が劣っているのは確か。 街乗りもしっかり考慮して作っている外車勢の懐の深さには、まだまだ日本車も負けているなと思いますね。

That was awful driving from the 911 pilots...sorry. They lost a second in a corner each and pretended to be surprised. Give us a break! It has nothing to do with fanboyism; they're visibly making mistakes that competent amateurs should not be making, period.
