Sitting here (west of Scotland) and as Rabbi started talking about the clouds of Heaven it started to rain. It was a clear blue sky 5 mins before! And as i looked a rainbow appeared out of the 2 clouds that were in the sky to remind me of God's pact with Noah. Nothing out of the ordinary seeing a rainbow other than the fact i was listening/watching this powerful talk. May the Ancient of Days be swift.

I was raised in a strict Christian home. I came out of Christianity after years of studying scripture, to the G-D of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. When I was a little girl, I had such an unexplainable longing to have the ways described and commanded in the Old Testament. I now know why. As a little girl I use to pray so earnestly to G-D to keep me close and begged to always know Him. HaShem is awesome.

I was brought to Judaism by God... HaShem called me 9 years ago. I was a Christian, Baptist from birth... My father studied theology at a baptist seminar and worked for the misión for years... I was always a defender of the Jewish people. I wore a Star of David while attending a Christian High School... My wife and I have been studying Torah with Rabbi Shalom Arush and Galed at Breslev. If it wasn’t for them I would have been left out in the desert with no water... But I found the Oasis and I live in it. We believe in your God! THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC AND THE GOD OF JACOB. Sometimes we feel alone because we have no congregation, but your words strengthens our soul, we know we’re not alone. Shema Israel...! Shalom, Rabbi. You spoke, “What the Laws have in common is they are all rational.” I love it when rabbis talk like this. Some, unfortunately, say, “Ahh, his laws are beyond us but we obey them to make our Creator happy.” Every Law in the Torah is to benefit humans. The unclean foods are unhealthy. The civil laws help us be sociable. Etc. As the Song of Moses states, “His work is perfect, for all his ways are justice.” (D32:4) It’s so good to have you back!
@janishart5128
@janishart5128 4 жыл бұрын
*Fiona:* Well said, however, just one point. The "unclean foods" are not necessarily "unhealthy", since most of the population eat them and live into their 90's+ with no adverse effects. The rabbis teach that the unclean foods block the Jewish heart from understanding God's laws, and therefore also from observing them - so that's the main reason. I don't know why this is - it just is. Also, God commanded us to eat only the 'clean' animals, therefore, the other reason to eat only these foods, is because God said so!
@fiona2269
@fiona2269 4 жыл бұрын
@@janishart5128Yes - but they still contain toxins - as the 'unclean' beasts are carnivores, and waste removalists aka scavengers. The toxins are carried in blood. Some people can't handle these poisons when they are young. For others it's when they get older that their body can't handle them as well. My aunt thought the New Testament said that all meat is edible (actually God tells Peter not to call clean meats 'common' i.e.. don't reject clean meat JUST because a Gentile/Goy prepared it, but the churches don't explain that, because they wish to be Lawless) .. anyway, when she got older she got sick every time she ate her pork or prawns etc., but not with the clean meats. The science is that blood contains toxins that are harmful, and the 'unclean' beasts eat blood. Eating herbivores is healthier. God loves us - that's why he's given us his commandments. He's not a meany. He's our Creator. EVERY commandment in the Torah has a basis of scientific wisdom and care. That's another proof that the God of the Torah is THE one and only God. Also, that the churches don't teach obedience to Torah is another proof that the churches have been corrupted.

John Smith My bible? This is the Jewish bible in which we speak of, not some newly crafted embellishments written by a prophet who had no authority. The main writer who apparently wrote most of the Christian bible was removed from before the children of Israel, and Gods mercy was taken from him by God Himself. 2 Samuel 7:15 'But my mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.' Furthermore, Tovia Singer is a Levite, and therefore is ordained a priest according to the God of Israel. This can be understood in the book of Leviticus. Tovia Singers knowledge surpasses any Christian scholar, and has taught many to confront and debate even those who are scholars of the Christian doctrine, with ease. I know, I am one of them. The word of God crushes all others. And to understand this, accurately, can only come from those who understand scripture in its original language, and from those who study day and night. You disagree with him because you have inherited lies, worthlessness and futile things from your fathers. And by the way, I myself study day and night, for many years now. Shalom

Hosea4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. Malachi2:7 For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8 But you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by your instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of hosts, 9 and so I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you have not kept my ways but have shown partiality in your instruction.

John Smith You do understand that everyone makes choices in life. Some have made wrong choices. Even those who were once good teachers. That being said, the Levi spoken of in Malachi is speaking about the teacher, which strayed from God, therefore there were some who did corrupt the word of God. The bottom line is, anyone teaching anything outside of the word of God, and also anyone not obeying the commands of God, as a faithful Jew, is of those who were called out by God as ones who failed to be pleasing to the almighty. Therefore shamed. This is not Tovia Singer. As you can hear and see, Tovia has not forgotten the law of God, and he only worships the God of Israel. He is expressing the exact intentions of what scripture tells us, which explicitly explains to us not to worship any other gods, and to repent, gain the knowledge of God and charity. By saying that Tovia should accept Jesus as his lord and savior, is asking him to believe in something he, nor his fathers never knew, which is one of the worst things you could ever do. Because, honestly, you could tell me that if I was to believe in the trinity belief system that I would then be the wealthiest person in the world, I would still reject Jesus and the trinity belief system, because, this idea is something that is temporary and only of the world for the past 1,700 years. It's meaningless. And why you might ask? Because : "If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend, who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods, ' which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, "of the gods of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, "you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him; but you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. "And you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. "So all Israel shall hear and fear, and not again do such wickedness as this among you. "If you hear someone in one of your cities, which the Lord your God gives you to dwell in, saying, 'Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying, "Let us go and serve other gods " '-which you have not known- "then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination was committed among you, "you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and it's livestock-with the edge of the sword. "And you shall gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and its plunder; for the Lord your God. It shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again. "So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers, "because you have listened to the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord your God." Which is exactly what Tovia Singer is conveying, and teaching us to do. And is the exact opposite of what you are trying to do as a Christian. Return to God all you ends of the earth! Shalom

Shalom Rabbi Tovia Singer. Here one from Puerto Rico, who came to the Jewish faith and belive with all my heart that Hashem is the true and only G-d. Im always trying to do better to follow the word of Hashem, i dont have a Rabbi to teach me but im trying my best to do things according to Torah even if i dont know Hebrew but i had my Torah and has the Hebrew scriptures and Spanish translation, and i wanted it with the original Hebrew and not only the Spanish just because it makes me feel so happy just to see the Hebrew words written. I was a Cristian before. But abbandoned that cause i started to see many things that were wrong and i didnt even knew of Hashem and started to feel to look for Him and was a desire that was buning inside me to look for the Truth and nobody teached me or talked with me about Hashem, i just started felting to look for Him, so I started to want the Scriptures and before that i already made my mind to accept that Hashem is the true and only G-d. Then i bought a Sión Levi edition Torah Jumash and i was so desperate for it to arrive, i waited almost 7 days for it, and when it arrived i ran to look for the box i opened the box and saw the Scriptures of the Torah in my hand i went into my knees and in tears of joy i said, finally Hashem you are with me i really felt like He was beside me, then i felt melancholy for all the years i went the wrong way and never knew from Him till now, not because someone talked to me of Him, but by my desire to know Him, and finally can learn from Your word in my loneliness, i said to Hashem, im sorry for the things i have done and for all my years wasted, but somehow you made me found You oh Lord with all those sad years i passed trough, i will never go back to Christianity nor to idolatry ever again. I left that years ago, and He knew i was telling the truth, i was Christian since i was little cause that is what my mother teached me, but im trying to teach her now who the true G-d is, now she belives in Hashem too but havent yet decided, she is more like into the Messianic movement, seems like she does not want to let go yet of Jesus. Like heavy chains on their feets are the ones that know the truth but dont want to leave their false gods, its not easy after you are teached the wrong way for so many years to change now. Im 36 now, the first time i started feeling this ways was in my early 30's. Some have the desire to look for Hashem and his word but dont have the will to do it. And belive me, it will be like a burning fire that will never extinguish till you trully change for Hashem, then you will start feeling like a river of clean water flowing trough you. I bought my Torah Jumash almost a year ago and then bought the Tanaj and a Sidur like 2 month ago to start asociating with the words phonetically, that have the written Hebrew, the phonetical pronunctiation of Hebrew written in Spanish and in Spanish i bought a beatiful Menorah and keep the Shabbat. Im trying to do my best even if im a long way to do things the exact way, but i will say to all this. Trying will bring you closer to Hashem, and it is worth it. So many things ro say about my life but and how i came to met Hashem, but i will end here, dont want to take much time. So i want to give Thanks to Hashem for the birth Of All men that G-d created to make the Torah possible and the brave Jewish mens and womens to keep it, and for the Rabbis like Tovia Singer who enlights us with the word of Hashem. Thank you Rabbi, Shalom Rabbi Tovia Singer. From Puerto Rico - RDMO

How to be a Righteous Noahide? 1. Have to comply with the 7 Noahide Laws, read Tanakh with Rashi´s commentary and study Mussar, which is character refinement and ethical laws applicable to all mankind. 2. Help Jews do Teshuva by helping Kiruv organizations. Prophet Job was also a Righteous Noahide. And one of the Noahide laws is ´´Dont spill seed.``So learn about the worst sin of Wasting seed and teach to others the Damages, punishments of wasting seed. And teach the Benefits, Blessings, Rewards a man gets, when he doesnt waste seed. Some call it Nofap benefits. By studying and teaching to others, by guarding your eyes and by learning Tanakh and Mussar, you will overcome this wasting seed sin, transgression much easily.

Hopefully, the Noachide movement will get bigger and stronger and then they can create a sense of community. As it is, it's hard to find anyone to even talk with about it. It's like we're all out there all alone or something. It gets lonely. That's the only problem I have with it. No community. No friends to be made. No Rabbi or anyone to guide it. It's self-guided and self study. And at night, I'm eating dinner by myself...again. I support it 100%, but it's a lonely way of life. I've even thought about pretending to be Christian again just so I can have a social life.

@@notaheareronly8105: That's really GREAT that you're learning from Rabbi Singer - and you've accomplished one of the main 'hurdles' - realizing that Christianity is not from God! You did the right thing, that's for sure! I and my family were Evangelical Baptist Christians and then a Messianic Christians for a total of 40+ years, and we too left all the falsehoods behind and converted to Orthodox Judaism almost 20 years ago. I have to say though, that it was quite a shock to learn that what we had been taught all our lives wasn't what God actually said to us, and we felt lost for a bit (not being able to use the "Jesus" name or sing the hymns anymore) until we decided that no matter how uncomfortable it made us feel, or how many friends and family we lost, we HAD to go with God's Truth, and He would guide us from there. We took courses on Judaism/Jewish Thought, at our local JCC, after we first began to question Christianity and had joined a Messianic group, and at first we didn't believe what the rabbis were teaching, because of our decades of indoctrination, but gradually, the more we listened to what they taught, and the more we read books on Judaism and Jewish Thought, as well as seeing for ourselves what the Tanach said, the more sense the rabbis' teachings made, and the less sense Christianity made. We also started attending a synagogue to check out what the services were like (boy, were we lost - almost everything in Hebrew, and no organ or piano music, men and women sitting separately!), and before long, people started inviting us to stay for Shabbos Kiddush, and eventually they started inviting us to their homes for Shabbos and the holidays, and as we kept learning, it just 'snowballed' from there to conversion. I think it's only at that point - when we are willing to allow God to open our eyes, that we can learn His Truth, because He forces Himself on nobody. May God continue to bless you and guide you, as you learn about Him!!

There is something to ponder when Jesus himself said “OUR Father in heaven” and why do you call me good... when there is none good but God and I can only do that which I see my father in Heaven can do. Why did Jesus pray... when he was about to be taken to be crucified “Father please if this cup can pass from me ... then He stoped and said no. not my will but yours be done. Jesus was the only begotten son of God ... Jesus is our savior and our fellow brother and it is He who points us to repentance and to the father. No man can come to the Father accept By Christ. He who has both the Father and the Son shall inherit the Kingdom. Pray about these things further. Be carful of those who seek to turn you from your first love. First to the Jew then to the gentile... let no one say to you man is unclean or not able to be grafted in... the gentiles are brought in through the messiah... Jesus Christ. I’m not gonna keep trying to quote scripture... let me tell you I have seen a child healed of cancer when she was 3. She had 2 tumors in her brain and she was prayed for and baffled doctors. She is now 23 and well. I have been drawn to the Father of Abraham Issac and Jacob by Confessing to others that Jesus is Lord and is my savior. God transformed my life. I have been delivered from many things in my life... and have been given a heart that loves people and prays for them ... even my enemies. I know that Jesus is the way the truth and the life. I'm a noahide bc Judaism makes sense. It's not fear based as is Christianity. There is no turn or burn. There are no man/gods. There is no vicarious atonement. You don't have to convert to be "saved". What you hate don't do to another sums up the last 7 commandments. Do you need religion to know this? No. I don't know anyone who likes being lied to, stolen from, gossiped about, cheated on, psychologically or physically abused by jealousy, dominance or violence.... unless you have a screw loose. However, if you want a relationship with the Almighty you can have that, too. Does your salvation depend on it? No, but why miss out on it? I want to know my G-d, not the scary maniacal G-d as painted by Christianity. I want to know the True G-d and bc of the Jews... I do. This wonderful Rabbi and others like him started me on my journey. They didn't have to knock on my door, they didn't have to hard sell me ... I went looking for THEM just as scripture said. What a shame that you all listen to a man instead of reading and studying the Scriptures for yourself. Even the Tanakh speaks of Yeshua, and you want to turn your backs on Him for Noahidism, which is not from God, but the talmud?! May the Almighty God, Elohim, have mercy on you all. The Lord sent His beloved, only begotten Son to dwell on Earth and He lay down His life *for you*. Jesus has loved you before you were formed, and loves you now as you curse Him. That is the wonderful Lord God, whom I serve and love, full of mercy and compassion. Jesus appears, and is written about all over the Tanakh, or the Old Testament and still you deny Him? He was at the foundation of the world, He is the Elohim, the stone that the builders rejected and is the chief cornerstone. The talmudic manmade laws of noah cannot save you, but Yeshua certainly will.

Perhaps I'll have the 255th comment or just short of that. But what I find interesting is the integration of the words of Joshua/Jesus referenced in 1 Corinthians 11:24 and more bluntly in John 6:54 is the mystic claim of Messiah as offering that John the Baptist proclaims as recorded in John 1:29 "Behold the Lamb of G-d who takes away the sin of the world" -- all of the flesh eating references is emphasis that the Promised One is the THE sacrifice of G-d ratifying the covenant of Abraham by which the blessing of the Law may be bestowed -- being (in some ages) daily exemplified by the Levitical priests whose lives were sustained by eating of the sacrifices.

Tovia, what about this explanation I found for the Isaiah/Luke discrepancy: The New Testament authors, writing in Greek rather than Hebrew, often (though not always) quoted from the ancient Greek translation of the Old Testament known as the Septuagint (abbreviated LXX). Thus, when a question like this comes up, the LXX is generally the first place to look. In this case, the LXX reads: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind," (Isaiah 61:1, LXX).1 Notice that the reference to "recovery of sight to the blind" is present. Thus, neither Jesus nor the New Testament writers invented this reference. It was already in a popular Jewish version of Isaiah from before the time of Christ. Based on just this information alone, Luke 4:18 makes perfect sense. Jesus could have been reading from something like the Septuagint (or, far more likely, a Hebrew version similar to the one from which the Septuagint was translated) simply because that happened to be the version present at that particular synagogue. He was reading the scroll in front of Him. Such a scenario does not involve any error or deception on the part of Jesus (or Luke) and fits the historical context rather well. Thus, based on the LXX alone, we can already conclude that this is not a flaw in the New Testament. Yet, this does leave us with another question. Why does the Septuagint contain this clause? Where did this understanding of Isaiah 61:1 come from? The answer is fascinating and, again, fits well with the historical narrative in Luke 4. The Dead Sea Scrolls contained multiple copies of Isaiah. Among them, we find a Hebrew version of Isaiah 61:1 that, instead of "freedom to prisoners" refers instead to the “release from darkness” or “opening the eyes” of the prisoners.2 This version does not appear to have been limited to the Qumran community. The later Aramaic translation (or "Targum") of Isaiah states similarly that “those who are bound will be revealed to light."3 This wording could refer to prisoners locked up in a dark dungeon and then set free to come out into the light, but it could also be understood to describe the literal opening of blind eyes to see (as the LXX translators obviously took it). The Qumran community seem to have read it this way as well. One of the Dead Sea Scrolls known as the "Messianic Apocalypse" (or 4Q521) overtly combines Isaiah 61:1 with the miracle of giving sight to the blind4 and takes it to be a messianic prophecy. This interpretation may have also been reinforced by similarities between Isaiah 61 and Isaiah 42. Just as Isaiah 61:1 begins "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted...," Isaiah 42 begins: "Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations," (Isaiah 42:1). Just a few verses later we read: "To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison," (Isaiah 42:7). Thus, in a very similar context, the "opening of blind eyes" is directly connected to the liberation of prisoners. This parallel may have informed early Jewish readings of Isaiah 61. At any rate, there was a version of Isaiah 61 in Hebrew that spoke of "release from darkness" or the "opening of eyes," and many ancient Jews understood this to refer to the blind receiving sight. This is, no doubt, what led to the LXX version's explicit reference to this. It is likely what produced the version that Jesus read as well."

There is no LXX version of Isaiah. You need to study the history of the LXX. The LXX consisted only of the five Books of Moses. Everything else is a later insertion by Christian authors. P.S. The actual LXX no longer exists as it was burned in the fire of Alexandria.

@@PeteRoyJackson, there are multiple sources which tell us what occurred. From a religious perspective the Talmud records the event where the Sages were coerced by Ptolemy into translating the Torah. There is also a letter called the 'letter (apology) of Aristides' which records this same event. As to how we know the other books were by Christian authors gets a bit more complicated. A partial reason is because if one compares what people refer to as the Septuagint with the new test we find the same mistakes in the translation from the Hebrew in both sources. I recall that there are other reasons as well which indicate that the Septuagint was translated by Christians but unfortunately it has been a while since I have been involved with this & I don't clearly recall what those reasons are. Rabbi Singer would probably be a good source to provide a more detailed answer to this as he is better researched than I in this area. As to how we know the original was burned in the fire of Alexandria this is a matter of historical record. You can actually google this for more information.

Read Isaiah 53 dear ones. The Jewish commentaries naturally try to dance around it, but the theme of the perfect sacrifice is all throughout the Torah. God was preparing people for centuries but humanity was largely too proud to submit their authority to Christ. The prophecies are difficult to understand because many refer to messiah’s advent and many others refer to his second. Seek him out while there is time. At John 8:58 there is a verb γενέσθαι (=genesthai). This is a verb, and is derived from γίνομαι (=ginomai), which has a range of meanings, such as to be, to do, to make, to appear, to arise, to seem, to come, to come to pass, to happen, to finish, to perform, to become. Its Strong's number is 1096. Its grammatical form γενέσθαι is given in Bagster as 'aor. 2, infin', which means it is a 2nd aorist type verb and an infinitive. An infinitive is the form beginning with 'to', as in those examples just listed, or to fish, to write, to complete, to err, to dodge, to invent. This word γενέσθαι occurs in other places with a strong future aspect, such as at Revelation 1:1 'things which must be soon TO ARISE '; 'what things have TO COME TO PASS'(Revelation 4:1); 'the things which must be soon TO ARISE' (Revelation 22:6). The context in John 8:58 is Jesus ' superiority over Abraham, so Jesus says, 'Before Abraham is TO ARISE, I Am'. The verb γενέσθαι is best rendered with that strong future aspect. But why, then, when we look at the KJV, do we find this strict infinitive, γενέσθαι, translated as 'was', an imperfect past tense put for an infinitive? It says, 'Before Abraham WAS, I am'. But that gives the silly impression that Jesus was around before Abraham! Whenever did an infinitive verb become an imperfect past tense verb? When we look at other versions we see the same dodge. One version has γενέσθαι as 'came into existence '. Yet they have it correctly as an infinitive in other places. These inventions and grammatical violations all serve the polytheistic error of making Jesus seem to have been around before Abraham, so turning him into one of Mysticism's gods in its three gods system. At John 17:5 there is the common and simple present infinitive verb εἶναι (=einai), Strong's 1511. Jesus is speaking of 'the world TO BE', or 'the world TO COME'. Why, then, does the KJV have that strict infinitive as 'was'? One version has the verb as a noun, 'existence'. The false translating makes Jesus seem to have been around before the world came into being. But neither the grammar nor wider context nor common sense allow such a mystical notion of 'the man Christ Jesus' (1 Timothy 2:5). Something more sinister the KJV does is put "made" for ἐγένετο (=egeneto) at John 1:3 instead of "arose", smuggling in a plural passive verb for what is a singular active verb, and it gives the silly impression that Jesus was the Creator rather than God. Kinda like when KJV puts "created" instead of "founded" in colossians 1:16

Your right haha well most Christians are wrong about the new testament it doesn't teach a trinity at all it teaches one God not 3 in 1 correctly translated it says Jesus was created Hebrews 3:1 Consequently, brothers set apart, partakers of a most exalted position, consider the apostle and high priest of our declaration, Jesus Christ, 2 faithful to Him Who created him, as Moses also was in all his house. 3 For he has been counted worthy of more eminence than Moses, since the one having constructed it has more honour than the house. 4 For every house is built by somebody, but He Who built all things is God. 5 And Moses was indeed faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things going to be spoken afterwards. 6 Christ, though, is faithful as a son over his house, whose house we are, if we hold fixed the firm confidence and the rejoicing of the hope until the end. 7 Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says: 'Today, if you hear His voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, as on the day of tempting in the wilderness, 9 when your fathers provoked Me, putting Me to the test, and they saw My works for forty years. 10 So I was angry with that generation, and I said, " They always go astray in heart, and they have not known My ways." 11 So I swore in My indignation, "They shall certainly not enter into My rest." ' 12 Watch, brothers, in case there is among anyone of yourselves an evil heart of unbelief so as to fall away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you might be hardened through the deceitfulness of violation. 14 For we have become partakers of the Christ if we hold fixed the source of our confidence, certain until the end, 15 with this to be said: 'Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. ' 16 For some, having heard, rebelled, although not all those having come out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was He indignant for forty years, if not with those who violated, whose carcasses fell in the desert? 18 And to whom did He swear they should not enter into His rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 And we see that they were not able to enter in on account of unbelief.
