I've owned both types and turbos are faster but the supercharger set up is better for everyday use and instant power in low RPM. I personally have the hellion 64 kit on my gen 2 5.0 and it's nuts.

Two fantastic Mustangs. The Coyote is as good as it gets when it comes to handling Boost from a supercharger or twin turbo. I agree the overall cost for bolting on a supercharger is less than twin turbos. But just looking under your hood. It's a total sleeper. As you mentioned. You have the ability to increase boost with a switch instead of changing pulleys. Thanks for sharing this performance dealership. I noticed what looked like a rare 2012 or 2013 Boss 302 Mustang setting across from the Shelby GT350R. I'm a huge fan of the continued acceleration your nasty GT has from the Hellion turbos vs the Whipple GT. Outstanding choice RacerX.

Turbos beat supercharger in full tilt out right hp. Great for roll racing, and drag racing but more parts are needed, more money, and know how go into it on top of having simplicity for everything out the window. Less issues on a blower car other than heat soak and top end power deficiency. Good video man, 👍. That place look like a ton of fun. Now that’s a dealership worth going to.

For 90% of American driving, superchargers make more sense. Instant power vs delay - many races on American streets are over by the time some turbos get into the boost. More importantly, most driving is cut and thrust and the much more instant power of the super wins the day

I have a 03 cobra that I put a 3.4l whipple on it and absolutely loved it. Now it has twin 64 turbos and love that too. I also have a 2015 gt that I put a gen 5 3.0l whipple and that's a blast. I went supercharger just for ease of install. Both cars are fun to drive so don't think you can go wrong with either TT or supercharger

Yes turbos make more power but can be more problematic with leaks, boost, oil, and antifreeze. I have been supercharged since 2015 with the Roush set up stage 1. Never a problem with the set up. Not the fastest on the street but better than most as far a power goes and I love the way it looks under the hood when I pop it for friends. Looks like a stock Ford product under the hood.

I had a turbo car back in the 80’s and loved it. These days I have a gen2 performance pack car. The 3.73 just isn’t a good fit for a turbo setup. I guess if I went with a Tremec that would help out , but not sure if it would be enough. Apparently my car is better off with a centrifugal, and I understand that. I guess it would really help if I could ride in a centrifugal car first to see if I like them. That’s hard to do in East Texas… I’m sure there are modded cars in my area, but I’m older these days and I just don’t know who’s in the scene these days. Pretty sure I recognized a couple spots you were traveling. 😆

That place is really cool. I was actually there shopping around a couple years back. Wanted to buy a modded Focus RS from them. I was trying to sell my modded Focus ST. Unfortunately, they don't honor the same modded work for trade ins that they tack on to most of those over priced vehicles. So went elsewhere, then ended up with my mustang gt that I later supercharged.

got to say its impressive both ways, but I will say it sounds like there was plenty of drone or extra noise on the turbo vs supercharger. It may just have been the microphone vs real inside noise but its just another consideration why I am leaning toward supercharger. Thanks for the video

Well supercharger is for the low end boost as the turbo is for high end as it needs roughly 5 - 6 k rpm to kick in however u should do a video on a twin charged mustang with a supercharger and turbo that works via a butterfly valve I wanna see that best of both worlds

Twin turbo is more fun, just by hitting a button and getting another 125 hp, and depending on your mods, that button could be 100's+ hp. It's like turbo NOS. When the waste gates open it is just ridiculously loud.

Hey, I have a quick question. I'm not sure if you know of a jmschip by pedalmax. But, I was wondering if it would help with the low-end tq? It basically opens up your throttle body quicker, allowing more in to come into the engine a lot sooner. I mean, I have a jmschip on my 06 town car. And man, it makes a night and day difference on the throttle response.

04 cobra owner here, i love my snake, but man, i have a built ecoboost stang with a g series g30 -900 garrett performance 62mm, i will say its nothing like it, i kill allot of cars on the street, the cobra is a different feel, but the turbo car OMG, talk about the looks on scats and cats, so so funny....DAMN!!!! fords grand national.....

I had a 2021 GT Premium with a manual MT82 transmission. Complete garbage! I could put up with the cheap plastic interior, engine tick and the glitchy electronics, but the drive train was garbage. Kept the GT for 2 months and unloaded it....was a pile of junk. Bought a real car from another manufacturer with a standard TREMEC couldn't be happier...FU FORD! BTW - if you did buy this POS with a MT82 you can join the class action suit!

Whipple car is nowhere near 700whp. It's a stage 1 on the stock throttle body and running the 4.0 pulley. Car is 620 at best.
