I think 4.5 was more entertaining to watch than Forever because it’s more up to date with current modern content creation. It’s almost like a vlog format and very personal & raw compared to the classic scripted movie format. In 4.5 You actually get to know the personalities and stories behind each bit, rather than just watching the bit itself like in jackass Forever. And everyone knows story is king!

I gotta admit that as someone who has been watching Jackass for over 20 years I was a bit skeptical about the new members but when I saw the movie and especially 4.5 I was pleasantly surprised, it just felt natural. I do think the .5's tend to be better somehow too, maybe not better but different and I just enjoy watching them more. I grew up on the Jackass series as well as the CKY videos so I'll always love the sort of disorganized aspect of it, just a bunch of guys with cameras coming up with stupid things to do, and the movies as they progressed started to feel too structured and for lack of a better term too "Hollywood". I just love how the .5 movies have that behind the scenes, random dumb clips feel to it, just like Jackass had in the beginning. Maybe I'm just getting old and nostalgic and I'm looking at the early days with rose colored glasses too much lol

Rachel’s scorpion bit was my favorite of hers in Forever. The taser too but there’s something more hardcore about letting a nasty looking creature with a fucked up venom stabber tail willingly sting you not just anywhere, but your fucking lip! Also the sort of double entendre of lip injections being a popular female plastic surgery as another dimension of the bit. That was def my favorite :)

Just saying 4.5 aside from the “full” behind the scenes felt more look “Jackass” than forever did imho. There was more set up and anticipation, if felt more homemade than just larger stunts that you’ve already done. You could feel the love of the craft in 4.5

As a person who has loved jackass ever since seeing it on mtv as a 10 year old child, ive loved all of the movies, some more than others, but i quite preferred 4.5 to forever.

4.5 was wayyy better man. Been a jack ass fan ever since it came out. Have seen every single piece or content these guys have ever been put out. Including bam and CKY. Growing up as a skater. But after watching 4.5 I was kinda bummed that those things weren't in forever or that it couldn't have just been the actual movie itself.
