I think both are important issues but Taylor video is actually about how people should make their own decisions in politics and other things instead of waiting for advice from your favorite artist. And then Lana straight up copied their hit for over half of her song with the only original part being the chorus. Radiohead improved upon the hollies "idea" 10 fold and made an instant classic. Lana didn't improve on anything she just stole from creep and then added her chorus. So where as Creep using the progression is only a good thing as the hollies were essentially wasting it Lana had no reason to use it and should have immediately realized she was ripping creep and just changed her verse and kept her chorus. You can't just "leave the label" there are contracts involved. As much as you might think Radiohead are all rich they have families to support and likely cannot just up and leave a stable income that a label provides.
