I love, what's the thing you use to measure the pieces? Oh just an old stick that is almost impossible to keep clean.
I love turnip cake so much, but it’s hard to find safe for people with shellfish allergy 😭

Just had some for the first time today at Dim Sum. Very yummy. I prefer it when the top is a little charred. What sauces should I try with it? 🤔
@Hoo888464 ай бұрын
Yes, from Guangdong province and Fujian province of China, and then spread to Taiwan from Fujian and to Hong Kong from Guangdong. Part of the Cantonese dim sum yum cha dish. One of my childhood favorite as I was born in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong.

@@MortalWombat22Usually hoisin sauce (hoisin is Cantonese for “seafood” 海鲜,haixian in Mandarin) and if you like spicy food, put a bit of spicy sauce on top as well.

Hong Kong-style carrot cake and Taiwanese carrot cake have completely different tastes
@Hoo888464 ай бұрын
@@user-sl7kr9og1m Well, Cantonese sushi, Sichuanese sushi, Hong Kong sushi all have different styles. Cantonese kimchi, Sichubrse kimchi, Shanghainese kimchi and Macau kimchi all have different styles and tastes. We also have different Chinese regional styles of takoyaki and teriyaki. Chinese teriyaki and Chinese takoyaki are way superior than the ones in Japan.
Radish and turnip are different vegetables... Why it says radish cake and the parentheses it says turnip?????

You are right. Tsengji is a domestic factory and its radish cake is just USD$4 per kilogram.
@Theexplorer-nw4sw4 ай бұрын
The shop says they Hong Kong style cakes but not seen video showing such large operations in HK. Also they actually used ground rice instead of rice flour. Pity there’s still lots of manual parts but the whole process puts us in HK to shame.

Tsengji purchases the extra long grain enriched rice and made it to rice flour. There are relevant instructions in the below video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p8uembGYuZ7elmQ.html
