Nadal’s movement and forehand on clay is the greatest miracle in all of sport history.

Thing is here these conditions was the best possible for Novak with the closed roof and cold temperature, more control + lower bounce. So even though it is clay this match should have been closer maybe even a different winner perhaps if Novak played his best.

Nadal won it again at age 36. Beating an in form Novak on the way. And Djokovic at 35 is making mincemeat out of his opponents at AO right now and hes in the SF, and every time hes reached a SF, hes won the title. Which means in about 78-79 hours from now, Novak will be lifting the AO trophy again. For a 10th time. To play on clay is the most difficult of the three as it requires much more technique, mental strength and strategy as you cannot rely so much on your service. Djokovic usualy knows how to play him. But on clay, his tactics that brought him 25+ wins over Nadal just don't work. That backhand in diagonal on Nadal's forehand, usualy makes damege. Here, on clay, Nadal simply reaches the ball and that is why Djokovic made so many errors. He needed to push to hard. Don't really know what can anyone do to this guy on clay. You need some very special circumstances to beat him (e.g. Soderling had the best match of his life when he beat him). I don't see anyone beat him on clay, unless he is injured or gets really old (I estimate another 3-4 RollandGarros titles for Nadal)

It's great to see they exchanged long rallies, hitting groundstroke behind from the baseline, cross court and drop shot. Nadal is extraordinary on clay and he is really difficult to beat, unplayable especially when he's in best shape.
