This game really gives the feeling you are out in the elements. I love it. I grew up sailing around south Florida and this game really does give me the vibes.

Make sure to read the hints that tell you how to do stuff. Like when you want to collect the bobber floats, press E to collect

You can place your raft on water to add more sections to it, land/ground doesn't let you, just don't lower the sail when you do that 😅😅Actually you can but you'll have to have the anchor deployed You will need to place a couple of farming plots just for pipi plants because you never know what stings you in this game, specially underwater. I think corrugated plots hold the most water so the watering frequency will reduce.

This is definitely the kind of game that goes well with a live, especially when you're learning! Tons of little tricks and tips that could hopefully lower your frustration level. 😜

That was a whole ball game! XD That was so funny! The Only way to fully heal after injury is to fill the food and drink bars after you got the medicine. Sometimes if you accidentally hit your raft with the axe or attach it incorrectly. It won't allow you to attach other things to them, but usually it's just because some other hit box is in the way.

TIPS & TRICKS 1. Get to a center island before building a base. Easier sailing to all islands. 2. Build a smoker ASAP. 3. Build your raft 5 wide and leave the inner areas without a floor. You can put storage crates there and dont have to build racks. Keep the crates simi empty for island exploration. 4. Put a sail on the rear of the raft as well, for reverse. 5. Don't waste your time on the gyrocopter unless you really want to. Its been a long time since i played but hope this helps. A live stream would really help you.

As far as building on the raft what was happening there was there was object collision preventing the build. Its best to put an anchor on the raft and do the building in the water.

I like placing crates in a row then drag my raft on to it to lift it of the ground

GeneralG empty your inventory when you go to get items to pick up more things also empty crates and use them for storage. Carry only what you need like knife or an ax and some spears if needed.

Yeah I think I will set up “base” on the biggest island I’ve found so far. That way I have a spot to drop loot and such off at👍🏻

Barrels and tires are the only things you can not stack or store. The only way you can transport them safely is with a raft that is at least 3x3 and the middle spot can not have a floor. What is happening to your rafts are the world objects have weight and physics and they weigh more than they should so they weigh down your raft and make it harder to navigate/control. This is especially true of the yellow raft. The best thing to do with barrels and tires is to stack them in a spot you can easily sail to and add them to the raft instead of transporting.

This game seems to be very frustrating to me you can’t move anything usually you can’t feel anything for your character doesn’t have enough storage

Can’t u add more Rudders to make raft way faster. Or bigger sails

Probably! I need to make my raft a bit bigger and then I’ll add another sail for the time being.

no. one sail is all you need. rudder just controls the direction you move. so having two is moot/redundant. you can get a motor engine tho and it is faster than the sail. and yes, you can use both to get max speed. but thats it. two motors does not make you go twice as fast.
