Unless you put a railcam somewhere along the CP Rail mainline in Canada, probably not for a while. I don't see future Canadian Pacific 2816 excursions going further south than Kansas City for the time being. But I still think that the tour was an idea with good intentions. It's just CPKC drastically underestimated how many people would see the Empress, and there was a severe lack of safety around trains in Mexico that needs to change for people in Mexico. (Watch ConrailFan76's video about the matter to understand)

If they do more excursions (which i honestly think they will) they will likely only go down to Shreveport. I did hear there was a possibility she will pull next years Holiday Train but thats not confirmed.

I was one of the railfans in the shot I'm in the gray I heard the someone was unfortunately...hit by the train In Mexico having it come back afew days early also the people were inches/centimeters away from the train and track . I think it was afew hours late a website said it would pass around late 8 o'clock there was a lot of traffic on the rails delaying it from leaving the yard but other than that it was really fun and there were a lot of trains passing threw out the time I was there

Will you ever see CPR 2816 again? Count your blessings my friend. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and I never see it. Been locked up since Covid. I am told a small excursion is planned in Canada out west. I live in the eastern part and we saw it in 2016 I think it was.

CP 2816 has a Lot of Train Cars attached to it. The Old Steam Trains around the U.S. and Canada receive a Lot of Attention when they Travel around North America👍
