RAILING and GATE Construction for treated wooden DECKS Video #4

I build and install balluster railings in between the 4x4 posts. I space the balusters evenly across the rail using blocks that are figured from my special formula.Check out the notes to get your evenly spaced railings. Also i build a double gate. The gate is used to close off the pool. The gate is installed with hinges and is basically made the same way as the railings.
Below are all the tools i use and a link to free drawings and material lists of two decks. As a home owner and a do it yourselfer you should have these tools. You will be successful and proud at the end of your deck build and may want to keep them. If you decide this will be your first and last time building, then sell all the tools no less than 75% of what you paid for them. Good luck and you can do it !!!!!!!

Great to see the math portion of your work. We have so many high school students out there that could benefit from a career in any of the various trades here in the U.S. I would have loved to have someone visit my high school to show me that the geometry, algebra, and basic math skills can apply to a hands-on job rather than shuttled into a 4 year plan for college. Always enjoy your videos!
