Rainbow E2 Black Vacuum Cleaner 2019 Review
Rainbow E2 2 Speed Vacuum E2 Black 2 Speed Rainbow. The main difference between the E2 Black 2 Speed Rainbow Vacuum and the other E2 2 Speed Series is the powerhead. The powerhead was completely redesigned with powered edge brushes. This helps with getting the edges of your carpet clean even when your against the wall. The E2 Black 2 Speed Rainbow Vacuum still uses a brushless motor and has a 2 speed switch. With the 2 speed, it allows you to use the vacuum as a home air filter that runs quietly and then the second speed is for normal vacuuming. The E2 Black is the newest model available.

I’m a Rainbow Salesman, and I want to point out how these are ACTUALLY sold: These are surprisingly not marketed as a “vacuum cleaner”, but rather a “whole home care system”. This is kind of surprising since…they brag how it’s better than any vacuum out there but if it’s not marketed as a vacuum how is it better than the rest if it ain’t one? And to those wanting the latest SRX I will unfortunately say: the E2 is better than the SRX (every Rainbow employee agrees with me). Not saying the SRX is trash, in fact it’s got a really good 10 year motor and circuit control warranty (continuous use) and has an expected life of 25-30 years (according to Rainbow, but I don’t think they will). In my humble opinion, I think they’re an excellent value on the used market, and they definitely have their benefits as compared to your typical Dyson. Let’s hope the next one has better airflow, suction, and is a little lighter on the wallet. Rexair, don’t sue me. All your employees agree with me, and we’re noticing it’s a trend too with some of our customers.

One thing that I like about some trolley style canister vacuums is that when you need to use attachments they are at hip height.

I like the light they added that lights up the water when it’s on. Man that brushless motor sounds loud for sure!

It’s actually not that loud in person. All cameras make this motor seem way louder than it actually is. Kirby’s and many Hoovers dirt devils etc are a good bit louder. Camera mics just exaggerate the sounds making it seem more liud

I've had several Rainbow Vacs... A d3, d4, and an SE. All were purchased second hand from estates. IF I would not have repaired the Central Vacuum (that came with the home), I'd still be using one. My biggest complaint about vacuuming is the smell in the air. The Rainbow had the lowest odor... The Central vac exhausts OUTSIDE.... so problem solved. As a CV owner, I have more power yet, and the long hose is easy to get around with... not needing to tow R2D2 with me.... Or in your Case RbE2

Central vacuums are awful. Connect a long straw maybe 100 ft to a cup of water and suck. How much water are you going to get. And how hard are You going to have to suck. That’s why central vacuums are useless

I am considering refurbished E2 black like this one after having issues with my Miele handle and power heads. The buttons for the on/off, suction control, brush roll and suction setting have become stuck in the handle. The power head release button doesn’t work, even with all my weight compressing it. It’s a shame because I love how quiet it is, I love how it grooms the carpet, love the air freshness after using it. There is a lot to love about my C3 but it keeps having very annoying problems.

I have a Rainbow Black from 2015 it is a pain in the butt to carry up and down stairs it's really heavy and I have CP so it's hard for me.

It is very light if you don't put the water in it before you go up the stairs lol! I have stairs too and we made that 🤦‍♂️ mistake too. Love mine so much!

I’m surprised the power nozzle doesn’t have height adjustment. I don’t think any Rainbow pwr nz has ever had it, but other popular high end canister brands do. Miele, Sebo etc.

The last version of power nozzle for the d4 all the way through the models had a height adjustment wheel. It wasn’t till the power head with the swirling edge brushes and headlight came out that they did away with heigh adjustment.

DeLuxe Carwashchannel 2014 If it’s not filtered by water it’s no good because this vacuum lasts over 40 years and cleans like it was brand new until it dies in other words this vacuum is a dyson and shark on steroids.

There is no comparison the Rainbow destroys all competition no matter what you put it up against. Ours is coming on 6 years old and zero issues. We run it 24/7 to filter our air in the house and my allergies are 100Xs better than ever! On top of that we earned ours for free and they paid us another $1300 for completing the program and getting one more sale after the program! Love this vacuum and now after having it so long I would have paid for it, but when they offered a way to not pay for it and be paid to use it I was like done!

Yes. That means that it’s pulling in air and it agitates the water.

I would take a look at Miele brand if you want a quiet machine that's easier to maintain.

What if they gave it to you for free and even better paid you $1300 to keep it? That is what we got!!! Took us 4 weeks and never had to pay a dime for it and then they paid us $1300 more for doing one more show and sale after the program was completed! Love this vacuum and after having it for 6 years I would have bought it but hey they chose to offer me a way to get paid to take it!

@Richard Dzurek we followed the entire program to a T. We did all the shows and sold the required 2 during our 12 shows. Then we had an additional showing which resulted in a 3rd sale and per the agreement paid us back for the full amount of the rainbow. This resulted in us paying zero for the rainbow, all the extra equipment including the carpet cleaning tools, and 6 rain rainmates which we still use now 4 years later.

Sorry we did the 12 shows sold 2 which paid for it then did an additional show and had our 3rd sale which then got us the rainbow for free and earned us $1300 cash.
