NZ’s broken weather pattern continues for another week with low pressure in the area but high pressure driving in some colder air, especially for southerners and easterners (if “easterners” is even a thing!?).
Heavy downpours are likely in the north of both main islands over the next week. However, even with our 7 day rainfall map the instability caused by this low and nearby high means these totals may shift around a bit… and of course any shift in the forecast means NZ’s mountains and ranges will change things even further. But here’s the latest thinking as of today.
And our place of the day is - the wonderful southern city of Invercargill - we love you Invercargill!! :) www.ruralweather.co.nz/foreca...
