My mime experience: I took one official workshop in 4th or 5th grade, plus some improv practices have focused on miming as part of object work. Really my miming heart is not pure, I only ever have done miming as a means to an end (improv being that end)

Wow… I actually stopped thinking about ten minutes in. It was brilliant. My mind kept trying to grab the subject matter, but in true mime fashion, there was nothing there for it. The metaphors were all slightly out of tune. The examples were slippery as air. The assertions were all made of glass. There was nothing I could do until the end. My mind blew all its fuses and I could only sit and listen. Brilliant! Miming brilliant!
