I've been using Dow Corning molykote 111 oring lubricant for a couple years now and I love it. I massage it into all rubber and silicone. Keeps the orings from drying out, and lubricates them for easy removal/installation.

Thanks brotha, usually the dot is to the side but it doesn’t matter, I like mines to the back because that position the Coolin fins to have the air pass through it but it’s personal preference. Thanks for the heads up

I've had trouble with my .28 SH engine, finally fixed it after just mad amounts of heat from the heat gun, but I could not get the piston to fit in the sleeve easily at all, even with oil. I was finally able to get it running and break it in so now it slidles flawless, but have you ever had this issue in the past doing a stock build or early rebuild prior to break in?
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
No I've never had that problem before... was it a fresh piston and sleeve? Did it come as a set or was it a re-pinch?
@tonyu22984 жыл бұрын
I notice that your piston pin is on backward. The opening part should face the front of the engine allowing the nitro fuel to run in it and cool down the connection between your piston rod and piston pin.
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
Really, I have to look into that, thanks

*Nice video bro, I'm drinving a mbx8 too, why the bearing must be frozzen ? just to seal all the stuf ?*
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
Thanks brotha, you freeze the bearing so it will fit into the engine bearing spots, its a very tight fit
@sendit28733 жыл бұрын
freezing the bearing shrinks the steel very slightly which allows a easier fit remember heating metal swells the metal freezing it shrinks it
@sn47som4 жыл бұрын
how you uninstall the bearings? good ol oven method?

I just acquired a protek ls5, I see you never run yours, mine came with a 2090 pipe, what do you think, good pipe for it, I also have a 086 I can put on it, don't have a 9901
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
either pipes will work, the 2090 might give you a little bit more bottom end, they both are good choices

Hey I see u got some expierence with reds engines. I’ve got an r5r but was curious if ya could give me a little info on the wr5 or wr5 Italia or the Scuderia. As far as how much bottom end they have compared to something like an O.S. speed or nova Paloma or other 7 port novas. Got a few of them. Thanks and keep the awesome work up.
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
Thanks brotha, well the wr5 is a five port it will have better bottom end then the paloma, the paloma would make a little more power being as though its a 7 port. Far as the os its a 3 port which will be better for gas mileage if your racing

Rajaa 111 Do you think it’s a big difference between a modded and stock .21? Just wondering if it’s really worth the money. I have a couple modded .28.8s but No .21’s let me know what yo think
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
it really depends on what your doing, for me its not worth the modded work cause I race I will never really use that power on a track, when racing you don't want the motor to be a light switch, you want to be able to use the full rpm range. Modding is cool but for me it's not worth the money. I can buy other goodies and still have fun with stock.

Whats the best pipe + header for a stock novarossi 28/8 egine?
@rajaa1114 жыл бұрын
I ran a 086 pipe with a 41001 that was a good mix for me, you can try a novarossi 9853 pipe same header. Are you bashing or racing?

I use bones brew, never had a problem. What ever fuel you decide to run, either a 30/10 or 30/8 the 30/10 will be a little easier to tune the engine
