This episode was informative; there was nothing that I did not know, but it made a lot of sense. I have watched quite a few videos on health, and this is what I have learned. Eat a savory breakfast and have protein for breakfast; limit sugars, if not eliminate sugar and carbs, for breakfast; and have whole fruit instead of fruit juice. Have a balanced meal for lunch. Dinner should be light and balanced and eaten at least 2-3 hours before bedtime. Limit your caffeine intake in the evening so that your sleep is not disturbed. Having good sleep is important. Exercise at least 3-5 times a week. Walking is the best form of exercise. Adding strength training to your workout routine is important. Your gut health is important. Cut out junk, processed, or fried foods and added sugar from your life; if you cannot cut it out t tally, have it in moderation. Moderation is the key to a healthy life. I am 60 years old, and I walk 10,000 steps five days a week. I dance my heart out during the week, and it adds to my physical activity. Yes, my diet is not perfect on all days. My only weakness is ice cream and portion sizes of certain sugary foods, so I do not buy them, out of sight or out of mind. It is a work in progress, and I am still working on having a perfect diet and strength training on a regular basis. And the most important thing, along with your physical health, is your mental health. Cut out people from your life who do not add joy to your life and make you miserable. Be healthy and happy, everyone.

There is no study from Boston (from a "University?" - how vague!) that says 7-days water fasting reduces risk of cancer (what cancer?) by 70%. And there is no proof that fasting kills cancer cells in humans.1 Nov 2023

Dr.Visakha, You are highly knowledgeable and described everything very spontaneously and correctly. I am a retired chemical engineer and running 80 years of age. I myself and my wife have come to Seattle USA to spend some quality time with our only son and his family. I purchased air tickets in economy class for both of us and traveled safely. We will also return to India in economy class too. We both are physically strong enough for leading healthy life. Our BMI is 21 to 22. We walk daily in life early morning. During rainy season we walk in our treadmill at home. We take black coffee without sugar in the morning and take breakfast having lots of fibre (soluble & insoluble). We take balanced vegetables and protein in our meal. We keep nearly 12 hours gaps between our dinner and the next day breakfast. You will be astonished to know that my bone density is > 1. I am a good cook and still love to cook. We always consume less carbohydrates and take sufficient fish and chicken. We never take red meat. Salad and curds are must in our lunch, which we take around 12 noon. Around 3:00 pm we take some fruits in moderate quantities. Our dinner time is around 7:30 pm.

I have been watching all health related videos from this channel and apparently all that we consume is killing us 🫠🫠🫠 The content is pure gold on this channel but i believe keeping a check on what we consume and maintaining a balance is the key !

ईसलिए शुुगर control करके आप quality of life जी सकते है. शुगर control है और Tri gkyceraldehyde/cholestral सब नौर्मल है.

I was just going through the reel then I felt like glancing the full episode. I started & had never thought of completing it but just glued to it & completed. Also Dr. Vishakha is also good & explained things scientifically & mentioned certain unconventional things also. Knowledge may help if we go deeper. Good you asked about vegetarians also everytime. Thx. Please make an episode on vegetarian supplements & diets with some guest if possible.

Nope, they are different. Minerals and Vitamins fall under micronutrients category. Micronutrients are required in very less quantity. They do not provide energy but are essential as they are involved in many processes that take place in the body.

My final conclusion is not fruit and juice are harm us. It's our living life style. Villager are live long than urban people yet they eat oily, fruits, ghee, butter and all those things which are avoided by urban people😅. But there life is very good, enjoy their life fully.so try to correct the life style ❤.

Nowadays I am listening to a lot of podcasts and all of them are saying the same things but I am listening to these conversations over again so that I can train my brain to make wise decisions at the time of choosing the right food options. Thank you so much Raj Shamani for doing such an informative video & thanks to Dr. Vishakha for explaining everything so well. You touched on each & every subject that I wanted to know about. There were of course a lot of things we knew, but a lot more which we thought was right & good for our health & it was shocking to realize all that was wrong & how we fall for such misinformations . Please do further interviews with the same doc on more health related issues, especially women health. God bless.
