I saw that on live TV and still remember that it was the most badass move of all times! He was so ahead of the second competitor in that stage that he won even doing that donut hahahaha

Me too as a small child, I thought it was the most badass thing I’d ever seen, I recently went into a charity store and found a 1/18 Panizzi 206 and as I got closer I hoped and it actually was this exact Catalunya spec

懐かしい…この頃のWRCは夢中で見てた。競技中にフロントを軸に小さい円旋回で魅せてくれて、WRCドライバーの凄みを感じたり、パニッツィをはじめ色々な個性豊かなドライバーとコドライバーのやり取り、ケイグラントさんと国沢さんのトーク、すべてが好きでした！ありがとう！

Left turn bonanza by Panizzi - an absolute classic. At that moment he was already ahead of the rest of the drivers and about to win the Catalunya Rally. Good old times. Gilles was a beast on tarmac. Pozdro666

全ステージ制覇の完全優勝も可能だったけど「確実に優勝しろ」という命令があったから諦めて、このパフォーマンスで溜飲を下げたみたいな感じだったねぇ。
