I cannot express how many fond memories that Ralph and your old country store series brings back to me. I long for those days to return even though I know they will never be again. As a young toe headed boy through the late 60s and on into their closing I would be so excited to be with my dad to visit sawmill floor country stores and gaze to the dirt beneath to the silver coins that had slipped through the cracks. I would watch my dad as he would talk with everyone and catch up with his friends. I clearly remember the little 50cents jack knives that were in a paper display on the counter of every store as well as the moon pie’s and RC Cola’s. I’m stopping here, but I just wanted you to know what this means to a lot of people such as myself.

I see Ralph still has a sense of humor. You can tell he was and still is a honest man. If those walls could talk. I can only imagine the memories he has that keep him going.the end was funny. Continued Good Health to Ralph. Hope he continue to share the memories. Love, respect and positivity always. ✌️🖖🕯️✨🌻🙂👋. Vee, Andrew and Family.😁👾👣.

The one little guy had beautiful hair. My dad had curly hair like that but was lighter. My dad was almost white headed when little, he was so blond. I enjoyed your videos, it sparks my own memories. You know, the memories you do not think on, the ones stored in the attic of your own mind.

A lot of small town America is disappearing withe closing of stores like these. In my area there was an old soda fountain shop from the 20’s that closed down a few years ago. If you want to see the shop, it was in a movie staring Brendon Frazier called “School Ties”. At the start of the movie the shop is featured.

When you think about it, How many Ralphs do you know? It seems like such a common name, but I have never met a Ralph in my life I don't think. Fred is another name which seems common, but you hardly ever meet a Fred (I took Fred as my online name cause I think it's cool lol) Long live RALPH!!

@@theappalachianchannel I'm in Connecticut. I would love to take a week or so, and drive through Tennessee. Visiting general stores and restaurants. Bed and Breakfasts. No hussle and no bussle. Just nice, quiet, rural clean-air breathing vacation👍.
