Ram 3500 Leveling Kit Install

The kit that I'm installing in this video should be the same as all 13-18 Rams, 2500 and 3500 with leveling coil springs. All that needed to be removed was the shocks and sway bar end links to get the axle low enough to install the new coils and shocks.

You need to get coil wedges they correct the spring bow if the wedges are available, we use wedges on our Jeeps when we build them because they bow a lot, I wouldn’t think the control arm replacement would not fix the bow in the spring the only thing control arm replacement would probably do was get your front alignment right also if you didn’t have bow in the spring prior to lifting it that means the axle is probably pulled over a little more to the driver side which means you’d have to get an adjustable track bar or track bar relocation bracket, When you lift a solid axle they usually pull over to the drivers side which in turn will make the springs bow.

Hey bro. I got same truck and same rims, to fit those 33’s did you need and spacers between tires? Thank you. I’ll send you pictures of my truck the only difference I got a welding bed

Victor Saenz no spacer between the tires but I did need a 1/4” spacer between the inside dual and the axle to keep the tires from rubbing the leaf spring.

I have exact same truck in a 2012 manual and just got ranch hand type bumper the other day. I want to level mine and put 33s I think instead of 35s. Thanks for video

What is the kit a 2"?

Brandon68plus1 I’m assuming that it is a 2” kit, but I’m not really sure. The guy I got it from couldn’t remember. He said he thought it was smaller than a 3” but didn’t even know the brand. Sorry I can’t help more

@@zanedickerson2454 no worries bro. I got mine done about 10 days ago with an Icon 2.5 coil spring kit. I really wanted 2 inch but everything in 2 inch was spacer type kit and everyone said go with coil spring kit if possible to have a better ride quality. Mine turned out nice and I love the look when it's unloaded but when I hook heavy bumper pull trailer up it sits a little too high in front compared to rear so I'm getting air bags installed tomorrow so I can raise rear when I have a load.
