Yes,,, I’d read more if this young man were narrating. I regret that I was NOT on board when I first saw him. I just couldn’t imagine him playing Freddie. Ohhh I love Marc Martel. Sorry this video just mentioned him. But no,,, it’s hard for me to imagine anyone doing justice playing Freddie. But this young man pulled it off!!!

You know back in the 70s I didn’t know of Queen and Freddie Mercury I had my son 1979 so I never knew of Queen UNTIL I saw the movie and from then all I became a true friend of Freddie Mercury. I absolutely love his style and music . He was a remarkable person and I love his music. I collected a lot of stuff including everything from socks to keychain and shirts. In other words I love his humanity. He was such a kind person. Too bad he left us so soon.

It is so refreshing to see an interviewer that lets him speak and that is honestly interested in what he is saying.

And asks REAL questions, not the same what others do and he is forced to answer over and over again. It's of course natural and part of the business, but I'm sure Rami was pleased with this, refreshing and the interviewers ability to let him speak. You can see Rami is even a bit surprised with some of the questions in a positive way.

The guy has worked to the bone in the training and making of the film, he has put his soul in a mesmerizing and unforgettable performance, and all the awards are welcome, but above all, we should be grateful to him and the entire team behind, that Freddie has been reborn to, again, make the World a little happier

Akaki Akakievich yess!! He worked so very hard alongside the other young men on this movie. Rami Malek is so humble and he really took this role as Freddie Mercury so seriously. He wanted nothing more than to give it 200 percent and pay total respect to Freddie Mercury.. Sasha Barron Cohen wanted things in this group to change and show the death of Freddy in addition to his wilder & crazy partying life. Really?? We already know some or a lot of what Freddie Mercury did. No one is perfect and anyone who lives in Glass houses should not throw stones. Sadly, back years ago people were so homophobic and at the same time quick to judge Freddie for partying when heterosexuals did the same thing. good grief most people in rock bands are crazy partiers. What did people expect? Everyone praised the Beatles, but most of them were seriously into drugs. Not that sure about Paul McCartney but I know he lost his wife Linda to cancer. Rommie wanted to portray Freddie Mercury in the best possible way he could for the director and producers and for the Rami wanted to portray Freddie Mercury in the best possible way he could for the director producers and for the band.. Freddie did not want people to remember him as being sickly or weak. I think the movie not going there was great. Anyone who was alive in the 70s 80s and into the 90s knows how bad AIDS was. I really admire Rami Malek and I was over the moon when he won the Golden Globe as well as the Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury. The timing was a little while in the movie for some things and the van never really broke up but did different things separately. Their separate work was not ever as good as the musical product they put out together as a team. Good job Rami!!

Rami is such a generous soul. He mentioned every single persons name who helped him in his process that you’d normally not hear mentioned, like the casting people, make up artists etc. The more I get to know him the more I love him❤️

I agree. He talks & thanks the people who made him Freddie Mercury. The movement coach, vocal coach, make-up artist and so on. Before thanking the people who made it possible for him to be Freddie in the movie. Actors rarely thank make-up and movement coaches. He deserved that Golden Globe and Oscar.

Help! I can not stop watching Rami Malek interviews. He is such a humble, sweet, interesting, and amazing person. I love how he graciously accepts praise for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury, but then praises everybody else involved in the film. I watched Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time a couple of days ago and was blown away by his performance. He totally deserved his Oscar.

Thank you for this wonderful interview with Rami! He is so talented, sweet, and humble. I love how he lifts up all the people and craftsmen that have helped him along the way in his career. I love his performances. He is a master of the art of stillness. He can communicate so much without saying any lines. He reminds me of a younger Viggo Mortensen. So much emotion comes through his eyes and body movement. I hope to see him win the Oscar for the Best Actor. I believe his performance of Freddie Mercury is the best of the year. He had to master so many new skills and instead of imitating Freddie he channeled him. Freddie is there but so is the charisma of Rami himself. I think audiences are captivated by that amalgam of the two talented artists in one body.

I've seen Bohemian Rhapsody 5 times now and I always look to see if I can see Rami and I can't, I only see Freddie...he has flawlessly channeled him...bravo!!!

@ Amelia Woodbridge I totally agree with you. Went to a particular movie theater by my house because I could not get enough of Rami and BoRhap! The gentleman that owns the theater as I was purchasing my ticket, said, "This One Is On The House".. Then proceeded to tell me to wait for a moment. He went into the backroom and came back and said, "This Is For You".. It's our way of saying, "Thank You" for being such a loyal customer and a Superfan! "To my surprise it was the original Bohemian Rhapsody full size Movie poster😁my eyes swelled up with tears shook his hand and I thanked him immensely! Everyone in the theater lobby was congratulating me and saying things such as "Cool" "Way To Go".. It really touched me, as I truly am a super fan! Incredible actor, Brilliant Movie, and I could still watch it 30 more times and admit, will never tire of this movie. This movie is truly a rare gem and will probably never be anything quite like it again. "Life Is Beautiful".. Rami Malek, and Bohemian Rhapsody Forever💖🎤🎸🎹🎟🎬

I am a long-time Queen fan, and I must admit, in the still shots of Rami for BR, I had criticisms. I've since watched the film. OMFG! He nailed it percectly. Visual differences, yes, but in terms of mannerisms, Rami 100% reigned king of Queen. I'm now back-tracking this oh-so-talented artist and am now in awe of not only his acting ability, but also his humility, humbleness and good-old-fashioned values. A new fan of Mr Malek and his work right here

ever since I saw BoRhap I've been mesmerised by Rami and has since watched nearly everything I could get my hands on with him in it, I have watched so many interviews with him and it's lovely to see how he mentions so many crew members on this film & from past projects that helped him to where he is now, to the point where I now whose name he's gonna say before he does. what an immensely talented and humble actor, he's such a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for him.

I am also almost 80 and on limited income but my best friend wanted me to see it and sent a check to do so. 🤗 Absolutely loved the movie and Rami Malek is such a sweetheart and wonderful as Freddie. Wish I could help you go see it's. If nothing else the CD will be out soon. The performance is an absolute blessing and worth his devotion to the role.

Dona Burns Hope you’ve had the opportunity to see it now!! You won’t regret one second!! I was just able to see it this morning at 3am OnDemand. It only rents for one day on there but if I could, I’d rent it everyday!!! As soon as available on dvd, I’m going to buy it. I still have till 3am tomorrow morning and I will be watching nonstop!!! This wonderful actor didn’t just play Freddie Mercury, HE became Freddie Mercury!!!! What an awesome tribute to a one of a kind performer!!! We’ll never have another Freddie but Rami Malek couldn’t have done a better job!!! Please reply when you see it!!! I’m 53 and grew up on Queen and was devastated when I heard Freddie had passed. You think someone so much larger in life , you think will never go. Sadly we lost him too young. Enjoy the movie and please let me know the impact it has on you.

A guy who's interesting and easy to watch. Sense of humor, honesty, credit given others' work, insight into his own 'mechanics'. That's new, that his first language was Arabic! I know his heritage is important. I went back to my childhood (and into adulthood) when I was head over heals about Omar Sharif. Oh, yeah! Glad you're in the fold; you deserve it and are such a pleasure.

I'm so glad he was the choice for Freddie Mercury. He did the most amazing job, captured the essence and put himself on the map. I could not be happier that he won his awards because he more than deserved it for Bohemian Rhapsody. Prior to that movie, sadly I did not know who he was until he did that movie. Congratulations! He’s not the handsome man with that beautiful almost perfect look, but he’s so enigmatic. He seems to be very kind and funny. Bravo for never forgetting where he’s from, his native language and culture. I think is great when you grow up somewhere else, you integrate and you adapt, but still your roots are who you really are. It’s great to grow up this way. You become more open and it widens your perspective.

Kudos to this interviewer, Scott, for asking new questions, putting Rami at ease, and most of all for not talking over Rami. It has been frustrating watching some interviews that basically interrupt Rami when trying to answer the questions. In those cases it has been more about the interviewer being on camera, than showcasing Rami. Really well done. And I just have to say is Rami is always dressed to perfection.

Rami Is a fantastic actor As well as a warm and well rounded human being who puts his heart and soul into every picture he’s ever done I’ve watched Bohemian Rhapsody at least a hundred times and never get sick of watching it I’m amazed how he transforms into Freddie Mercury I think it’s one of his best movies that he has ever done He makes it look so easy That’s what makes him one of the best actors of our time I look forward to seeing more of his work and hopefully soon

this is probably one of the realest and most comfortable interviews i’ve seen of rami. really refreshing to see him answer fully and truthfully for a good amount of time.

Im glad to see that im not the only one that is obsessed with Rami!! I have never seen a movie 8 times in less than 2 months like I did with this movie and am still not tired of it

Really Late to the interviews. I’m obsessed with BR and Queen. I could watch this movie everyday. Rami is an unbelievable Actor. Freddie Mercury will live on forever as well as Queen.

Rami Malek is the best one who played his role correctly and very, very well. He studied the character's plans very well, and her idea was amazing about the other actors. It is clear that they play what they represent. If Rami Malek was a leading character, the film would be better than the circus to make the good point in the film that Rami Malek The best actor in Hollywood right now is undisputed a smart, hardworking and attractive person who keeps you looking around for him all the time😍🥰💯 ❤💯 🤟🤘 💗💖
