So last year the clan hosted a TF2 server on a lark. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Here are some highlights from the livestreams.

thing is, he is probably right, i have not seen much but i saw that he didnt trickstab once. Maybe he is actually really good for picking the prime moments to backstab and not trying risky stuff, but hes already above average. Then again the average are the 4 newbie spies that are a part of every tf2 match so that may actually not be much.
@LeahThe3th
@LeahThe3th 2 жыл бұрын
It's funny because he really is average at best, they just haven't learned the counterplay yet. That final backstab clip you could see how obvious it was with a demo not shooting at choke anything pacing in circles, backing closer and closer to the medic with the biggest giveaway being the quick flicks to check if the threat is still there. But it is really fun to watch anyones initial frustrations.

@@LeahThe3th yeah but I don't blame them, if ZF in general had a little more experience with the game they would be able to spot a spy much more easily by the way most spies move while disguised,always trying to carefully not bump into enemies, I counter most spies by spamming splash damage with soldier, it's pretty easy with solly

I remember playing a TF2 game where I met a player, who, whenever he got backstabbed by a spy, he changed class to a pyro and ritualistically made it his driving focus in life to hunt down and dominate that player until they left the server. The man had a sociopathic hatred for spy's that still haunts me to this day. I have this fear that by posting this video, soviet might've awoken that beast. I fear that Quebec's life is in danger, for the Pyroman has been alerted. He is awake. He is coming.

If Quebec was doing good at spy against a semi-competent team that knew what spy-checking is then he would have a harder time and the fact that most of the players don't check behind them at all mainly Soviet when playing medic when healing someone you can spy-check by looking behind then calling out to your heal target that there is a spy.

@@cypherusuh the politics surrounding China are actually far more complicated. China has proven it a great threat to its neighbors but it’s also the leading bastion against the US and UK so certain countries have formed a necessary alliance as self defense. And no the US is one of the most powerful countries in the world just below China in terms of economy. The only thing we have an overwhelming advantage of over China is military power which isn’t ideal. I wouldn’t call us a *good* country. Citizen standards are lower then other powerful countries. I might call us a *necessary* country minimizing and suppressing global threats and risks.

I gotta comment after seeing the pinned comment about SFM not working. I salute to every KZfaqr who uses that cursed program. I get nightmares when thinking about using high-poly models like exported character models (from other games) or fully rigged weapons. I get a crash roughly every 10-15 minutes due to the built-in memory limit of the program (models get saved into cache when browsing). This memory limit seems to be permanent. So roughly 24-30 crashes + restarts on a 4-hour SFM-session for a video. Absolute clusterf*ck of a program but fun to use. Understandably it's not super finished and designed for model imports since it was primarily for Valve's internal use AFAIK and is pretty much an abandonware now (excluding S2FM).

There's a program called Large Address Aware that you can use on SFM to remove the native restriction on ram usage for 32 bit programs. For reference I have a octocore processor and 64 gigs of RAM

@@mice6545 if you think a spy dies too easily, keep shooting and get your guards up. the dead ringer also has a loud and distinct decloaking sound, so be aware of it. Honestly the best counter to spies is paranoia
