Trust me, Womble, I had the same reaction to this game when I first played it in 2018. I was so scared for my life! First the Working Joes, then the Alien, who is leagues worse than those synthetic freaks! This game is so scary, PERIOD. 😰😅😱

To this day I still use "no one said yes. It was just a glass smashed, a mozel tov and everybody said yep" for sudden "solutions" everybody agreed to and makes a bigger problem, and when people open their mouths to say something they realize the problem was caused by what I just said

@ 1:19:54 - 1:20:00 Sadly, that part is realistic. I personally know of someone who disappeared on a holiday journey and was simply never heard of again. As far as I know, none of his colleagues cared about him enough to start an investigation. But even if they had cared, there isn't that much they could have done about it. Think about it for a moment. When someone goes on a journey to wander through exotic forests or climb high mountains on a far away continent and just doesn't return, your options for searching are very limited. Nowadays there's at least smartphones that can be tracked, but even that has hard limits. Worst part is that an increasing number of people live socially secluded, with only a tiny amount of friends or sometimes none, and have barely any family they'd keep in contact with. Colleagues are a lot less likely to move a finger when such a person just doesn't return from a trip. Especially when you can't even know what the reasons are. Someone might just spontaneously decide to start a new life elsewhere. @ 1:20:20 The news about the guy disappearing on a journey as a christian missionary became so widely spread because he informed every single person of his intentions along the way. The people who took him to the island also found his corpse, just hours later. His case was exceptionally easy to track. Compared to that, there's hundreds or thousands of cases of unsolved disappearances.

Not that I know...but I assume cannibals running back and forth or in circles isn't a path finding issue, but rather a behavioral quirk added to prevent players from getting immediately run over. The worst games are those where enemies, upon seeing the player, just run straight at them. While it makes for the most efficient approach to take the player down, it's not necessarily realistic (depending on the enemy type / creature) and certainly not interesting. I also find that it matches with the game's other cannibal behaviors. They're "humans" with horrifying mental health states. It makes some sense that they don't act logically but rather a bit insane.

I love womble's upload schedule, because every time he uploads a video, I will have forgotten the key parts of the rest of his videos and get to watch them like I'm watching them for the first time. This sounds like a dig, but I'm actually being honest, it's magical, I've watched arma 3 bullshittery like 6 times now over the last decade and each time I enjoyed it as much as the last

So I am just now getting to finishing this series and I don’t know what to say about the ending. That ending invokes a feeling of..fear? Confusion maybe? I’ve always had a feeling of being ‘alone’ so seeing that happened to Cyanide was all too surreal. And then to see everything else go back to normal, it just felt so..important. I don’t know what to say really. Amazing editing from Womble.

I can imagine you receive a lot of appraisal for your work daily, Soviet. Still, I would like to confirm to you that even though this essay series for day Z was one of your first if not the first, the quality is at the very top in many aspects, humor, explanation of the subject using the right terms correctly. It is no wonder that you worked with QA, at least based on your results. I wish you're able to teach someone, an editor, or something your qualities so we can see more of your video, which is great, but scarce. (Perhaps that's why is great, because it is well built and delivered in the correct period). Also, I would like to add that after seeing many movies and trailers using Guns'n Roses's famous song as a hype "mechanic" was never well used such as the manner that you used. Really well-built, sir.
