90% sure thats an inflated number for the power bank. I'd place it closer to 10500-20000 but no way to know for sure unless theres a tear down.

Tip for anyone hooking up their own router at college if u can't connected it bc you school runs a virus check on devices like my school did. You can clone your PC Mac address onto the router to trick the school network into thinking the router is your PC.

10:28 Regarding the router, do keep in mind that some college dorms don't allow wireless broadcasting. Be sure to check out your college's guidelines!

came here to say this. Great video and a great idea, but most colleges won't allow you to use a personal router so checking dorm rules is a must.

@@neil_surya Yep. I had actually bought this router because it was featured in an earlier randomfrankp video, but I had to return it after finding out my university doesn't allow it. It's a real shame, but it's understandable as the interference would be insane.

This episode has some really nice items in it! There are so many amazing items that I could you use... the wifi router, the power bank, and any of the storage organizers.... HOWEVER! The most amazing thing about this episode is those locks!!! The locks that open with a little card are extremely useful. I take medicine and I have to keep it locked up (it's heavy stuff my people... chemo bah). Anyways... That would take minutes off of locking and unlocking things. Minutes add up to hours and hours add up to days. I'd love to gain extra days at the end of the year lol.

The most useful products for me would be the router, and locks. My teacher wife would get a lot of use out of the ID holder. It would certainly make it easier to keep up with her necessary IDs and cards for work.

I have had that battery backup for over a year now and love it. I have let it sit for over month in a drawer and it was nearly at 100%. Worth every penny.

found a powerbank that looks exactly the same. here is the picture. a guy opened it up and saw a 16000mah battery. ( two 29.6wh cells. which is roughly 60wh which is rougly 16kmah ) sadly i cant post the picture. but its fake indeed.

I really like these videos! Especially the down-to earth budget ones. One thing though, it would be really great if there were time markers/sectors in the video to show where the different items are. If I'm in a rush and may not have time for a 16 minute video, I just want to know a few things about each item.

Any time a lock has a TSA symbol it can be opened by one of three common keys. They're always the mildest deterrent

Not bad the Philips bottle, I've been looking for something to use on the go that holds a decent amount of water, that looks good! Not so sure about the price tho. Also, shout out to the memo board, what a great little idea, simple but very practical.

Battery banks are something that has improved 10 fold. Compared to 2013 where a 5,000mah battery was as big as a brick.

That 30.800 mAh powerbank is the best. ive had it for 2 years and its still saving my ass. Cant confirm if its actually that number but it seems legit. Recharges quick, The USB C port is semi fast, easily charges multiple devices, and the wireless charger comes in handy. The mini LED screen that shows batter percentage is the reason i bought it.
