Range Rover ‘Fifty’ limited edition.
The Range Rover ‘fifty’, with only 1970 being made - a reference to the year the original Range Rover was made.
This particular model is finished in the solid traditional colour, Tuscan Blue, which certainly stands out.
In this video, I will show you the steps of an Enhancement Detail with some localised paint correction to remove deeper marks and sanding marks. The finish is then locked in with Carpro Cquartz UK edition ceramic coating.

Great job! Beautiful car. Disgraceful if that car left the dealership with those defects from new; wouldn't be too surprising if it was your average Ford/Vauxhall, but on a £100k plus car you'd expect better.....

Most times these cars come with perfect paint from factory but the dealer messes them up when they initially clean the car.

@@minigamer2202 the only cars that come pretty much perfect from the factory are Rolls Royce, in my opinion. However, you are right that it’s the individual dealerships that can inflict the damage. This was covered in sanding marks/pig tails, which is a sign of sanding at the factory. It’s a very unique colour, so I imagine it was handled a lot more.

Beautiful 👌🏼 Really enjoy your videos. I’m having a little trial of the bilt hamber stuff this weekend, I found last time the surfex cleans incredibly well without foaming up much.

Thanks, I’m glad you like them 👍🏼 Bilt Hamber are a very hard brand to beat! Surfex is amazing, as it pretty much can do everything! Water based, biodegradable, non toxic and very good cleaning power.

Do you find it lacks a bit of foam in use? Silly to feel like foaming is needed, when the cleaning power is evident at about 50ml per litre 🥴

Thanks! These are Kirkland Microfibres. They are fantastic for this purpose, but remember after using them with a coating you have to downgrade them, so for example use them for interior duties on textured plastic. Never reuse on paintwork, as the coating cures and crystallises in the fibres 👍🏼

Thanks Max. It really depends what these marks are? A tar remover and iron remover would be great for decontaminating the paintwork, followed by a light clay bar. If there are marks left then you might need to polish the areas. Sorry for being vague, but it’s quite difficult without being able to see the car 👍🏼

Thanks! I didn’t in this case. My client was more concerned on the paintwork protection. I’ll be maintaining it monthly for them, so only be topping the wheels up with a sealant or a detailer spray in between washes 👍🏼

I would too, it’s was raining as I was doing it so couldn’t even pull it outside for the photos. The colour isn’t metallic, so doesn’t stand out like some of Range Rover’s other colours in the sun.

Beautiful work. But what is the point, when the car will be dirty again in 1 week? And it takes so much time to clean the car. I prefer to just drive through an automatic cleaner and let the paint deteriorate before I just buy a new vehicle in 2-3 years.

Thanks! This is the in initial ceramic coating detail so wouldn’t Need to be done for a few years now. A maintenance detail which I do monthly on the car is more of a basic valet which typically takes around two hours to make the car look as good as it did the day I detailed it. It really depends on what you’re after from a car. It sounds as if you use it as just a mode of transport, whereas some people love the look of the car and want to keep it looking pristine. I don’t mean any offence by that. I know it’s an exaggerated comparison but that’s like me saying why do you brush your teeth daily when you’re just going to eat the next day and dirty them.

Don’t want to put a downer on this video no tape to protect those shark fins and the use of that polishing machine.no tape round the door handles either .little tip open the door and put a cloth in it so you don’t machine onto the next door.

Hi Jason, are the shark fins the black gloss sections on the door? These sections were being polished at a separate stage. I taped up the front arches when polishing the black gloss section as these bits are slightly lower than the arch, so didn’t want to burn through the edges. I’ll always try and lean the machine away from edges to take the pressure away from vulnerable sections, but can try and explain this further in future videos. Cheers
