I am at a huge loss for words… I knew this was going 6 or 7. We didn’t start Kochetkov but for one game this series and never gave him a chance, I feel like that was the nail in the coffin. I gotta respect Kreider and the entire Rangers team though. GG Rangers fans, we know our teams will meet again someday..

Im a rangers fan and the canes really played hard and were the better team in game 4 and 5 and the first 2 periods of game 6 and honestly after the 2nd I thought it was over and was cursing the TV but that 2nd goal by the rangers gave them the momentum they needed and im still in shock but I woukd rather them play boston but if it's florida so be it that will be a hell of a series.

This is the honor of the NHL, the handshakes for a well fought series! Amazing series Carolina! Hold your head up high! I had my doubts but I never stopped believing that it could be done to beat this Carolina team, I'm just in awe right now; hats off to Carolina but what a way to hang in there and come out on top for my Rangers! UNBELIEVABLE! LET'S GO RANGERS!

@ScottStenlund maybe not, but you gotta remember that despite our terrible power play we still took it to OT twice. Even while playing bad those games were super close. That doesn’t spell a good look for the Rangers when they go up against a team that actually does damage with their power play.

Puck luck helped for sure as you need good health and bounces to win. Carolina could have definitely win any one of the first three but simply put...they did not. Rangers deserve to move on.

I am a Ranger fan and no way did the Canes choke. They are an excellent team and they are very well coached. It's a shame some of the FA's won't be back, but the Canes are a very well run Team and will be back here next year.

I still don't understand, how you guys call this a choke. Pisses me off. There are 32 teams in the NHL, and it's incredibly hard to win SC today, even as a cup favourite. Getting to 6 tight games against one of best teams this season is not what I would call a choke, can't win the cup every year. Canes are and will be a force to be reckoned with for a some time

Not really a choke. The Rangers were the favorites and had a 3-0 series lead, eventually winning 4-2. Chris Kreider simply called game and series.

Canes had the Rangers on the ropes going into the third. Anderson a poor 2nd goal and Staal's penalty changed the momentum in the Rangers favour. Good comeback and win

Every single year they're a top 5 team in the East. They have a great coach, good core, growing fan base. Be careful what they wish for....If I was a Canes fan I'd be mad too cuz I KNOW the feeling as Rangers fan of underachieving and dissapointment. But I certainly wouldn't be messing up that roster or coaching staff.

I honestly have no clue what went wrong. Rags were on the ropes 5 minutes into the period, Canes were set to win. Then they fell asleep and Staal took a stupid cross check penalty. Well, wasn’t meant to be I guess to GGs. 👋🏼

The Bills lost four straight Super Bowls. The Canes have not lost four straight Stanley Cup finals. Many teams, including the Rangers, Bruins, Leafs, Flyers, Canadiens, Capitals, Blues and others, have gone to the playoffs for years without winning a Cup

As a hurricanes fan, you're so used to them choking like this. Hate to see it. You have to play 60 minutes of hockey and they only played about 50. It was a tough series. The defense and goalie of the rangers are unreal but I don't think its going to carry them to the end. You can see what happens to them when you finally break that damn goalie down..
