You better be careful. Ever since I put this up I have gotten many complaints for my position for "I Robot" was #8. They may come after you next. LOL. Ours is not too different. "Eye In The Sky" was the first of their album I ever owned. It came in at a close second. Thanks for letting me know your rankings!

Nice list well compiled too I vote Eye in the sky as #1 simply as its my go too and was special in that time of my life, later it reared up in my regular playlist when the Chicago Bulls were using Sirius as their theme song. fast forward to very recently and Mofi releasing their version which I have ordered and looking forward to hearing.thanks also for showing the first press details with the foil and red stripe along the edge mine also includes a digitally recorded sticker. look forward to your future videos many thanks.

Wow, great ranking video! I was so surprised with your #1 most people go with I Robot, but I agree with you, in my vinyl tag video I showed Turn of a Friendly Card as my album with a sporting event on the cover, and said it was my favorite, funny story it was one of the first albums Columbia House sent me as one of their picks, before that I had only heard the single Time. "I Robot" is okay. But, you saw where it fell on my list. LOL. There was a "Turn Of A Friendly Card" 7" single released for RSD a few years back. I had to grab it! I don't understand why they never released it in the US as standard single. Great song! "Eye In The Sky" I won off a radio station when I was in 10th grade! I really liked that album the first time I heard it! Thanx for the comment and take care!

Others have told me similar about 'I Robot'. Its a good album as all their albums are. I'll have to listen it to it again, maybe update my thinking about it. Thanks for the comment!

Agreed about I Robot. I can't imagine what people thought when they heard it in 1977. Way ahead of its time.

Just FYI, "Damned If I Do" from the "Eve" album did chart. It made the top 30 on all three charting publications in 1979. On Billboard, # 27 and was on the chart 17 weeks. On Cashbox #30, also on their chart for 17 weeks. On Record World # 28 and lasted 16 weeks. As for your rating on all of the albums, I have no problem with whatever order you list these albums because that's your honest opinion. But since you went through the trouble to rate all 10 albums and rank each song, I found it surprising that your rating of each song are much lower than I would expect from someone who has all the albums and is making a you tube video of this group. On a 1 to 10 scale, usually 8-10 points is very good to superior, 5-7 is better than average to good, 3-4 is lower than average and fair and anything lower than that is pretty bad to horrible. For example, on "I Robot", you list 6 of the 9 tracks at 3 or lower! It gives the impression that you thought the album was pretty bad. As an APP huge fan, of the nearly 100 songs that they released on these 10 albums, I can't think of hardly any songs that would be in the 2-3 rating scale. Also, after the studio albums of the Project, Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons have released about 10 albums since they stopped working together. All worth listening to if you are an "APP" fan!

You're not the first to let me know their dissatisfaction with my "I Robot" ratings here. You have to understand, I had never listened to I Robot before this video. There were 3 or 4 albums of theirs I had never owned before or listened to before I decided to make this video, I went out and bought them and then gave them one listen and based the songs on the APP albums I am more familiar with like Eye In The Sky. Sometimes it can take us more than one listen to really get into and appreciate an album, I was that way with Meat Loaf's "Bat Out Of Hell". But, I did not have time to listen to each album multiple times and I merely tried to give each song my honest opinion at that time. I do need to give it another listen for sure. Maybe a few more listens:).

In my opinion, the only thing keeping Eye in the Sky from being a perfect 10 album were the two Lenny Zakatek songs (Fingers Burned and Step by Step). Don't get me wrong, he's an amazing inclusion to every Alan Parsons album he's been on, with numerous standout tracks but in this album for some reason those two songs feel a little...out of place to me.

No eres el primero en quejarse de "I Robot", pero eso es justo lo que pensé del álbum. Nunca lo había tocado antes y era la primera vez que lo escuchaba. Estuvo bien, pero creo que tienen mejores álbumes. ¡Gracias por el comentario y cuídate!

Its an album I had never owned before and had just heard once while making this list. That's just the way it ended up. Since then, I have played it more times and it does deserve a higher score today. But, that's what it was back then.

I don't mean to be rude to you, but I just dont think it's a good idea to do a ranking of a band's discography without haven't listened it properly. Moreover, I robot it's a cornerstone on APP discography, if not their best. So let me see if I expressed myself good, It's okey if you do a ranking that way (it's your channel, not mine), but maybe you should check the albums more times before doing it to avoid mistakes like this

@@musicminute2004 Well, I was ranking them by songs, not by albums. I actually listened to each song and gave each song a ranking. Whether I had heard it 100 times or just once. I think it that was a fair way to do it. Some songs grow on you overtime, that is true, but, I still listened to each song and gave them a fair score at that moment. I can't think of any group in my collection in which I intimately know all their songs so any band I rank will be subject to the same issues and I doubt if this is isolated to just me :) In the end its all just fun and opinion. I doubt if this video hurt any APP sales for "I Robot".

Dude, you are using the word “uh” every other second… Not trying to be a hater just pull your Reading/review together and edit it out or learn to speak without pausing with the word uh! Makes it almost unlistenable I had to turn and go to a different review.
