- The Utah Yeti (nice alliteration to that one) - The Outlaws -The Black Diamonds (although I think it’s a long name) - I can’t decide between The Swarm and The CaraboU

I initially liked Mountaineers but you're right WV kinda locks up that name. Utah Outlaws works also although you're right again in that the OKC Outlaws with the double-O's definitely works even better !! Yeti seems popular but sounds corny imho and for sure cannot CANNOT have two future rival mascots be the same !!! For a non-plural name I would vote for *MAMMOTH* with VENOM being a close 2nd!!!

My personal favorite is Utah stags because it rolls nice of the tongue. and also the elk is the national animal of Utah. But it's not on the list, so my picks are mountaineers hive Caribou outlaws

Here are my top 5 names- Cobras, Venom, Outlaws, Scorpions, and Dragons. To a lesser extent, I like Bighorns and Bobcats.

Haha good point. Although I did some very official online research, and it looks like while Yetis is the proper plural for the word, Yeti is also acceptable.

From what I read, they will just be the Utah Hockey team for the 24-25 season. They will,not have their name and logo in place until the 25-26 season. To me this is wrong. The name and logo should be in place for this upcoming season.

Yes, you're correct, and I agree. I appreciate them not rushing it, but it means they have to absolutely nail the name and look.
