Majora’s mask will always hold a special place In my heart

This might surprise you, but Spirit Tracks is my favorite 2D Zelda Game. The fact that Zelda is your companion was great, I really love the Tower of Spirits, it's a better version of the Temple of the Ocean King, as well as the other dungeons and the soundtrack is beautiful. I know that driving the train and playing the spirits flute is annoying, but I feel like the fans are always forgetting the great things about it.

I love how well you were able to Express the pros and cons of the games without spoiling much of the games itself, people usually struggle with that, great job

Great video! TP is my fav Zelda game, so I'm happy to see it's in your S-tier. I did want to mention, they upgraded the textures in that game, as well as upped the resolution. You can definitely tell on the item and environment textures. 😄

The beauty of Zelda is that everyone likes the games for different reasons. Our lists line up pretty similarly, I would personally put Majora and Majora 3D in S tier

I just started playing Zelda games and honestly Im liking skyward sword just as much as botw. The only reason I like botw slightly better is because the combat is more fun and there’s a lot of replay value in the game. Other than that, they’re essentially even for me so I’m shocked he put skyward so low. I think the slower pace of skyward made it more fun because as an experienced gamer my experiences playing certain games doesn’t last long. The motion controls in skyward kinda was a learning process so it made the experience last longer

I guess it's a generational thing. Some think that A Link to the Past is better than Ocarina... Apart from that, in my opinion you did a great job ranking them all in a very objective way. Honestly this list is pretty spot on, the only thing i would change is i would put skyward sword top to mid A tier but thats just my opinion.

And the Trash Tier, Zelda 2 is not enjoyable at all and the road to the last level until the end of the game... It's just frustrating!!! And the 2 DS games, I hated them so much. Mostly Phantom Hourglass. The others tier-lists are my personal experience AND SOME of them IF people will like it overall.

Skyward Sword HD basically fixed all the issues you had with the original. I would put it at the end of S-tier.

ALTTP is S TIER! considering the system this came out on, the weird side quests , the flute boy so many innovations that future Zelda's use today for etc light and dark worlds , the hook shot etc for me it's aged better than ocarina of time and Majora . Definitely understated if you played this at the time of release you would understand .

Best tier list I have seen so far. I think 4 swords adventures should be above the very first zelda game but other then that good list

You should’ve waited for Skyward Sword HD before making this list. It has arguably the most improvements of any of the HD remasters. I’m having a lot of fun with it and it is getting much better reviews than the original.

Four swords was the first Zelda game I ever played. I got it on DSiware for the anniversary edition. I just started trying to get into the series and never realized I had started out with the worst of the bunch.

Very curious to see where you’ll end up ranking Skyward Sword HD. I couldn’t even finish the original. Essentially, I’m disabled and part of my disability is that my motor skills are lacking so I had a very hard time with even the second boss, which I never managed to beat. I found the motion controls touch and go, and could never get that final thrust on that scorpion.

The remake of Skyward sword could bump it up to A honestly. Solid list overall,I agree with a good amount of it

I was on the fence about BotW. Still am but more so on the good side. Love the gameplay and challenging combat just wish you could repair weapons (hopefully tears of the kingdom fixes this) also the enemies were so spread out at times you're just running. Adventuring is God tier. Even on my like 5th or 6th playthrough I still find things I've missed before. Story is extremely lackluster in my opinion. Other than Miphas part I didn't feel super captivated. Although there's 120 shrines (not counting dlc) 90% were copy and pasted or not that challenging. Would have rather had a lot of them meshed into bigger shrines/dungeons to make them seem bigger instead of super short and scattered. Also needed more enemies. The divine beasts while interesting concepts it left a lot to be desire imo. They needed more enemies inside and they were OoT water temple levels of tedious. Resetting everything to get things you overlooked. The blights were awesome though. Not a big gripe but my ocd hates I can't have maxed hearts and stamina without cheating. The fight with ganon was too easy especially the last segment. Lastly, the music (probably my favorite part of these games) was just wack. There were a few pieces of music that were good but overall was let down.

I'm of the minority that thinks the 2D Zelda games are better than the 3D ones. LBW, LttP, Link's Awakening, Minish Cap, and the Oracle games are my favorites in the franchise. Not a huge fan of the ones on NES or DS though

I would put Majora's Mask in S tier. I would also put Adventures of Link in S tier. (unpopular opinion, I know!! But, like the original Super Mario Brothers, the game provides endless hours of real entertainment, of a type that is not found easily.)

Link to the past is still number 1 for me, that game is soo good. Really great items and dungeons. The puzzles are so satisfying. Breath of the wild is close second though. Also the original loz is still A tier for me. So much replay value, all items are optional and you can do the dungeons in any order, and there are literally secrets everywhere.

These may be hot-takes from my part, but I want to share them. I'm not criticizing anyone, opinions are opinions, these are just mine: -I like Skyward Sword better than Twilight Princess. My biggest gripe with Twilight Princess relies on difficulty, it is too easy for my taste. I don't know how TP managed to be easier than the most Hand-Holding game in the series but it does. For starterts the enemies in Skyward Sword require more thought when fighting them, they can block you, you can stun them or parry them, you can avoid them altogether, and they have more interaction with the environment (they can be attacked by hornets, fall into endless pits or in lava, they can also be hit with objects, there are some that call out more enemies, etc..), meanwhile TP just has little variety (Some enemies can only be attacked from behind, and/or be stripped down of their armor), but outside that combat reduces to spamming the attack button, this worked fine for OoT and M'sM, but by the time TP came out it lacked substance. Yeah, there's techniques, but they're mostly for show and spectacle, since the only techniques that are really useful are the back slice, and ending blow, but they did not changed the combat too much. Enemies in TP rarely attack, since pressing a button doesn't demand too much skill I believe having more aggressive enemies would be natural, but no, most of the time monster get close and stare at you for a good second before hitting, meanwhile SS's combat relies on your skill to attack the enemies on their not guarder angles, even if they aren't too aggressive either, at least they block your attacks, so they encourage you outsmarting them instead of just mindlessly pressing the attack button. Bosses hold the same issues, TP's arstyle and concepts make for some intimidating bosses, but many of them lose this factor due to being so criminally easy. The first three dungeon bosses are some of the easiest bosses in the series, the only point I can give them is that in cinematic and epic terms at least they deliver. SS has some goofy bosses, but there is no boss that doesn't tests your skill, they go beyond just using the dungeon object, they really tests how skilled you are with both said object and your sword, and I think I value more the test of skill over presentation in a videogame. -Breath of the Wild is OUTSANDINGLY GOOD; however, I don't think is the best in the sieres, and despite its impact... I don't think is better than TP, SS, and M'sM (Even WW). Its really good, and don't get me wrong I love BotW, but I don't think it holds up to most of the highest regarded Zelda games, due to the following reasons: Dungeons. I liked the Divine Beasts, but they don't compare at all to traditional dungeons. The Divine Beasts are fine for what they are, and for the game they're in, but I don't think more of them is required, and I would actually find it boring to see the same concept again. (About Sanctuaries, I liked them a lot, but they don't count as dungeons either. I don't mind them coming back, unless it means sacrificing any concept of a dungeon). Enemy variety, actually BotW has a good quantity of enemies of different types, my problem with enemy variety actually relies on the variety in the environment. For example in previous games for fire areas we would see specific enemies for that area that would use the environment or something that matched the theme of it to fight or be an obstacle to Link, meanwhile in BotW is the same enemies, but with a color skin or being fire-like, that's it, and this is what I mean with this game lacking enemy variety. (why did we not saw plant like enemies in Farone? Or more aquatic enemies? Instead we saw the same enemies as the rest of the overworld, but just adding electricity to Lizalfos and Keese. The Story, It's not that BotW doesn't have a story, it's that the story already happended. I'm more forgiving of this point, since this is the first time, since the first game of the series, in which you can truly free explore the world and do things in any order; however, that doesn't mean the story bits aren't diminished by the fact that we see eveything in flashbacks, and that mostly we are TOLD to care about already death characters, instead of growing a care for them. Personally when I learned about Mipha, I grew more care about King Dorphan and Prince Sidon, since they were there, and I interacted with them, and they were relevant to the plot. I'd definitely say that BotW is the 3D Zelda with the weakest story.

if they remaster/make zelda two (making darknuts and the wierd crocodile mace enemy have actual counterable attacks that arent bugs) i think that it would be a pretty good game!
