Easy breath of the wild gives you items, splatoon gives you outfits and let's you take pictures with the characters, and miitopia gives you outfits and game tickets

In Breath of the Wild there are Amiibo specific items, in Odyssey you get the location of moons, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe you get Mii costumes.

Fun list, missed in the new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game scanning the shulk amibo gives one of the characters classes the monodo cosmetic, and the rest of the amibo give random collectible batches so like D tier.

The inkling amiibo is used as a save for a costume in splatoon 1, 2, and 3.

@@ParaternalSkies64 Actually I believe it’s still relevant as it saves your current gear and 5 Freshest Fits, and I believe it even works in Local Play/LAN mode (if say you play on someone else’s Switch)

You missed some stuff for Shovel Knight, now there are King Knight, Specter Knight and Plague Knight amiibos and they spawn a fairy that looks like that amiibo. It also gives the characters a special costume, they unlock challenge levels after beating the game, and there's a mode called Custom Knight that makes you unlock stuff as your amiibo levels up. Could have put the Treasure Trove version in the list for this lol, Shovel Knight's amiibo functions are pretty cool

The Amiibo support in Robobot is actually the only way to get the UFO Ability without fully 100%ing the game. It also makes getting the Smash ability easier as that ability is tucked away in hidden locations. Splatoon 1 is also higher than 2 imo as those Challenges are really fun and they also unlock new Gamepad Mini games to play while waiting for a match as well as the Hero Shot, Hero Roller, and Hero Charger, which are all far cooler variations of the Splattershot, Splat Roller, and Splat Charger respectively.

The units you get for Fates aren't temporary. Once you've battled them and completed the maps for the respective character you can have them as a permanent army member

Splatoon 1, 2, and 3: Gives you special gear and saves your settings to that amiibo Miitopia: Gives you special costumes for your Miis to wear Mario Maker 1: Gives you special costumes for Mario to wear in the Super Mario Bros style

Kirby Planet Robobot gives a copy ability based on the amiibo scanned (Ness gives ESP, Dr. Mario gives Doctor, etc.) Kirby characters had special colors and costumes with the ability. Mario Party 10 had amiibo party, a (really bad) mode that changed the board depending on the amiibo scanned. Even Gold & Silver Mario had their own boards. Skyward Sword Definitive Edition let you summon your Loftwing from anywhere if you used a specific amiibo.

In amiibo festival they are required to play the entire game, literally every turn. In Shovel Knight they unlock cool outfits and fairy companions. And finally, in Mario Kart 8 and 8 deluxe they let you unlock cool racing outfits for the Mii’s

Man i really wished there was a Skylanders theme‘d Amiibo game…like imagine Shovel Knight teaming up with Cloud, The Octolings and Solaire, fighting against evil monsters and enemies from their respective games and the final boss is a Factory that turns into a Gundam to destroy them all or some shit, That’ll be badass…but difficult to make cause tons of licensing and stuff-

Another game that has amibo support is Cyber Shadow, which you can use the shovel knight amibos for custom colors and little fairy guys for each of the knights that follow you around.

I paused the video. the mario series amiibo are used in mario party 10's amiibo party mode. most amiibo released at the time can be used to unlock costumes in super mario maker on the wii u, mii costumes in mario kart 8 and miitopia, as well as different yoshi's in yoshi's wooly world. the zelda series amiibo can be used to unlock special costumes and weapons in breath of the wild, while any random amiibo will instead get you a couple of items like some apples and meat. the marth, robin, lucina and ike amiibo can be used to unlock those characters in fire emblem fates. in three houses, you can visit the amiibo gazebo and unlock special music tracks with the fire emblem amiibo and other amiibo will unlock random items. in super mario odyssey, you can take an amiibo to uncle amiibo and some of them will let you unlock costumes early, while all amiibo can be sent out to find power moons. the animal crossing amiibo are required to play animal crossing amiibo festival, one of the greatest games on the wii u. the chibi robo amiibo unlocks a hidden world in chibi robo zip lash, one of the greatest games on the 3DS. and of course, you can use a zelda and loft wing amiibo in skyward sword HD to instantly fly to the sky.

Splatoon gives you costumes and challenges. Metroid dread amiibos give special items, Hyrule warriors gives you weapons, BOTW gives items and all sorts of stuff. And that’s all I know

Great list! Forgot a few though. Using the Shovel Knight Amiibo in Just Shapes and Beats gives you 4 new levels. Also people seem to forget that Skyward Sword and Skyrim have Amiibo functionality as well.

FE14 Amiibos were legendary. Ike is genuinely a top 10 unit in the game, and the rest are pretty good as well! Save for Robin. Shame they don't support Roy, Corrin, Alm or Celica, but I don't mind too much! And I'd drop SOV down a tier simply because the Amiibo function in the game was a lot more limited, and not a perma unlock. Such a shame, but not nearly as bad as in FE3H

In breath of the wild, amiibo give you items, notably the only way to get Epona, the Wolf Link amiibo unlocks a new level in the HD remaster of Twilight princess, and in Kirby Planet Robobot, they give you copy abilities related to the figure(mario and luigi both give fire, splatoon figures give you artist, etc.

I got a Qbby amiibo at launch for $60 (game included) just because I’m a fan of the series lol. I literally bought Kirby Battle Royals for the special skin to flex. Btw: it unlocks the Qucy skin and retro theme in ByeByeBoxBoy. They’re just endgame rewards though and aren’t exclusive. HOWEVER the Kirby series amiibo get you exclusive skins in that game.

The Shovel Knight amiibo also unlocks special abilities and levels for amiibo knight and the others in the series unlock exclusive cosmetics for each knight.

The Qbby amiibo DOES have a functionality in a BOXBOY game. In the third game, BYE-BYE BOXBOY!, which is the only BOXBOY game to support amiibo, it unlocks the Qucy costume and a setting that lets you change the screen color filter. However, you can also unlock these items by completing all the worlds with a perfect score or owning BOXBOY! and BOXBOXBOY! as well.

I know how amiibo work in other games. Kirby Robobot- All first party Nintendo amiibo gives kirby a copy ability based on the character. Third party gives random ones though. Splatoon- unlocks new cosmetic items that you can wear the gear of And skylanders is well- skylanders. Which I freaking loved as a kid, and still do!

You need them for Animal Crossing Amibo Festival, You get special costumes in Mario Kart 8 (And Yoshi's Wooly World), and there is a gamemode in Mario Party 10 that requires them.

Three other things: Mario Kart 8- certain amiibo can provide costumes for Miis Mario Party 10- certain amiibo unlock a mode called amiibo Party where players use amiibo as game pieces Super Mario Maker 1- unlocks costumes for the Mystery Mushroom item

Besides the obvious ones: - Link Amiibo gave the spinner weapon in Hyrule Warriors - Pikmin/Olimar restocked Pikmin in Hey Pikmin - Samus/Metroid restocked health/missiles in Metroid Samus Returns (and I think Dread too) - Picross 3D Round 2 unlocked special Nintendo puzzles

Okay here’s 3 amiibo uses: 1. In the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors the Super Smash Bros. Link amiibo unlocks the top weapon from Twilight Princess 2. In Fire Emblem: Fates the Super Smash Bros. Lucina, Robin, Marth, and Ike allow you to recruit those respective characters and unlock an item to grant one of your base game units their respective classes 3. In Pokken Tournament for the Wii U (i never played or heard anyone talk abt DX) the Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card allows you to play as Shadow Mewtwo without beating the story (i don’t remember if its a temp or a permanent unlock or not, never played myself, just got the card as a gift)

1.Specific amiibo give your mii racing suits in mario kart 8 and 8 deluxe 2. You can use a specific amiibo’s likeness as part of the mystery mushroom in super Mario maker 3. You can use any amiibo to drop chests/items 3 times per day in BOTW and Zelda amiibos can give special drops that are specific to that Zelda amiibo

In splatoon scanning Amiibo gives you special challenge missions you can complete in order to give you unique gear, in yoshi’s wooly world you can scan Amiibo to get yoshi wool patterns that match of the Amiibo you scan in, and in breath of the wild you get items for scanning in Amiibo and for scanning in certain Zelda themed Amiibo giving you special items like the Twilight Bow or Epona

0:40 I can mention at least five: - Mega Man Legacy Collection (3DS) - Using a Mega Man amiibo unlocks a series of fan-submitted challenges for you to do. - amiibo Tap (Wii U) - Any figure unlocks a random Brawl Masterpiece. That's it. - Mini-Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge (Wii U, 3DS) - Mandatory to play the game. If you don't have any of the ten characters, you can scan in any amiibo to play as Mini-Spek who has no abilities. - Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival (Wii U) - Mandatory to play the game, but it falls apart when you realize you have to spend more money to keep playing a bad game. - Mario Party 10 (Wii U) - Mandatory to play the amiibo Party mode. - Super Mario Maker (Wii U) - Scan in an amiibo, get that character's costume. - Yoshi's Woolly World (Wii U) - Scan in an amiibo, get that character's costume. - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (NS) - Scan in an amiibo, get that character's costume. - Animal Crossing: New Horizons (NS) - Scan in an Animal Crossing amiibo figure to get that character's poster. You can also use a character card, also from this series, to call villagers with intent of having them move in to yer island.

In Splatoon 1, tapping an Inkling Girl/Boy/Squid amiibo gives you challenges based on story mode (you have to finish the levels first) that give you special gear, a minigame and a hero weapon. Tapping any Squid Sister amiibo will make the Squid Sisters do a live performance like it's the Callie vs Marie Splatfest, also including a new single track that is different in both amiibos. In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Nintendo Switch/Nintendo 3DS), you can tap a Wedding amiibo from Super Mario Odyssey to gain immediate access to the Super Mario Odyssey levels, after that, every amiibo you scan will give you a 1-up (limited to 2 scans per amiibo per ~3h) aside from Toad, who can give you an invincibility mushroom. In Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Nintendo 3DS), you can either scan the Mario or Sonic amiibo to turn their respective Mii suits to gold, upgrading their stats. This effect lasts 24 hours, after that, the amiibo has to be scanned again to regain the golden Mii suit. The Mii suit must be unlocked beforehand. Proved you wrong

0:38 Yoshi’s Woolly World: Get fun skin to make your Yoshi cosplay as a bunch of different characters or use a Yoshi Amiibo to play Yoshi Climbers Mario Kart 8: Unlock Mii costumes for a pretty small selection of Amiibos Mario Party 10: Play actual Mario Party and have fun combining board pieces to make the most non-sensical Mario Party experience you can imagine Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Cheat by making healing items and power-ups appear out of nowhere. Yes, I didn’t looked these up and I wrote them off the top of my head before watching the rest of the video. Did I play too much Wii U and had too much fun with plastic figures? Maybe but I don’t care. Now, let’s get back to the video.

Mario party 10 has an extra mode. Yoshi's epic yarn gives you an extra character in single player. & mini Mario & friends amiibo challenge needs an amiibo to play the game.

Mario series amiibo can be used in Mario party 10 to unlock a new game mode, they can be used in Mario make and Yoshi's woolly world to unlock new costumes, and in the original Hyrule warriors they can be used to get more items and weapons, with Zelda character amiibo giving better quality weapons.

in the original splatoon amiibo unlock extra missions. in metroid dread they refill your health/missiles. in kirby they give you copy abilities. in super mario odyssey they give you extra health, grant invincibility or reveal purple coin locations. in breath of the wild they spawn resources and amiibo-exclusive equipment.

In Mario party 10 they allow you to play amiibo party In mini Mario & friends amiibo challenge, they allow you to play as the respective mini In 3ds Kirby games, they give you an ability corresponding to the amiibo used

Okay, In Bayonetta 2, amiibo give you halos and items, and certain amiibo can also give you costumes and even weapons, with a max of 32 amiibo per day. In Splatoon 3, Splatoon series amiibo give you certain outfit pieces the more you play the PvP mode, as well as keep track of your Freshest Fits. In Breath of the Wild, Zelda series amiibo give you special items exclusive to them as well as resources, and other amiibo just give you resources, a similar model is followed in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Splatoon 1 - Amiibos unlock loads of unique challenge stages, basically serving as a precursor to the Octo Expansion. They also unlock really awesome 8-bit minigames to play while waiting for a match. And on top of that you get a neat extra costume and the ability to save a load out. B-tier.

Splatoon Amiibos unlock gear if you played the game long enough, and save sets of gears and take photos with Splatoon Characters. A select number of Amiibos unlock costumes for games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Miitopia. Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards are more sought out since they allow players to get their favorite villager onto their island much quicker.

Super Mario Maker: gives you a costume of the respective character exclusive to the SMB1 style in the form of the Mystery Mushroom. Yoshi’s Wooly World: Gives you a Yoshi pattern of the amiibo character scanned. Kirby Planet Robobot: Gives Kirby a copy ability related to the character scanned.

In shovel knigt it gives you extra relics and a couple cosmetics, in kirby robobot you get a healing item mid game and in mario kart you get costumes for your mii

using amiibo in Monster Hunter Rise allows you to do a special amiibo lottery, Kirby: Planet Robobot gives Kirby an ability depending on the amiibo scanned, and Yoshi's Wooly World grants you special Yoshi patterns depending on the character (except some just put a lame t-shirt on a green Yoshi and call it a day.)

Animal crossing new horizons would allow you to invite the characters on the amiibo to your village Not really a high effort list (hi luke) but yeah it’s there

1) Breath of the Wild had chests, but mainly if you used Twilight Princess amiibo you summon wolf link 2) the Kirby 3ds games gave you copy abilities, including a couple unique to amiibo ones 3) Splatoon unlocks cosmetics

the way amiibos work in 3 games 1. in fire emblem three houses they give you materials and a song if it's a fire emblem amiibo. 2. in zelda BOTW they give you materials, and also valued equipment if it's a zelda amiibo. 3. in mario + rabbids if you use the amiibo's of mario, luigi, peach or yoshi they can give you weapons.

Splatoon 1,2,&3: amiibo allow for the player to pose their character with the amiibo and unlock exclusive clothes, save gear sets, and access special challenge levels Kirby planet robobot: amiibo can be scanned to gain a copy ability. Some amiibo give a random ability, some have specific abilities tied to the character, and some Kirby series amiibo give special costume abilities. Xenoblade chronicles 3: you can scan amiibo to earn collectables, and the Shulk amiibo allows the player to use the monado as a skin for the Swordfighter class

1: In Yoshi's Woolly World, you can scan certain amiibos to get a costume of that character. 2: In Super Mario Maker (the first one, and just like #1) you can too, scan certain amiibos to get a msuhroom, that when in contact with, grants you a costume of that certain amiibo. 3: When scanning the Chibi-Robo amiibo into Chibi-Robo Zip Lash, you are granted a longer plug, and a golden body. Case closed.

In Mario Kart it'll give you skins for miis, in 3D World and Bowser's Fury it'll give you power ups or summon Bowser, and in Odyssey it'll give you costumes.

In mariokart they unlock new mii outfits,in kirby they drop healing items and coins and in zelda they drop materials/weapons and if it’s an amiibo from the zelda series it has a chance of dropping exclusive armor and weapons

All the splatoon amiibo give you in game gear in every splatoon game, they give you yoshi alts in yoshi's wolly world, and in the Wii U version of captian toad: treasure the toad amiibo lets you play hide and seek with toad (Also you didnt even talk about it but just shapes and beats has amiibo support, scanning the shovel knight amiibo unlocks that character's song in game early, scanning anything else just gives you in game bonuses)

Animal crossing gives you villager in your campsite if you use the cards in both new leaf and new horizons, and some other amiibos had unique characters based on other games if you used them in new leaf, like wolf link or Medli. Mario Odyssey's exclusive amiibos give you bonuses(and so do the other ones). Mario Maker on the Wii u unlocked costumes.

In Mario Party 10, they unlocked characters boards/board sections in whatever amiibo mode that was. Amiibo festival, obviously, lets you play as those amiibo characters, including AC Amiibo Cards. Breath of the Wild gave you a themed loot chest for different amiibos and I'm pretty sure Link on Epona gave you Epona. In ACNL and ACNH, cards let you invite visitors and cards/amiibos let you invite special characters. Some games just allowed you to get random items periodically. Hyrule Warriors allowed you to unlock the Twilight Princess spinning top for Link and maybe some other weapons. That's all I've got.

The Smash Series Inkling and any Splatoon Series amiibo are compatible in Splatoon in the way that they gift gear and store loadouts. In Kirby & the Forgotten Land, you either get performance enhancements or food from amiibo, depending if the character is or isn't a Kirby character. In MK8Deluxe, you get Mii Racer costumes. Not claiming to be better than you, just saying. People know.what these lil plastic NFC Coin -wielding figurines can do.

Xenoblade chronicles 3 (most recent installment to support amiibo) get the monado (via the Shulk amiibo) early than having to play the entire game, others give goods to sell. Mario kart 8/8 DX give mii costumes (Mario and sonic Rio 2016 has costumes but only for Mario and sonic).

You skipped a really good amiibo function in BotW. I got the smash bros Zelda amiibo (Twilight Princess) bc she unlocks an exclusive BOW OF LIGHT. It’s the Twilight bow and it shoots infinite light arrows. PS: it was so hard to find a yellow-stand link bc only the OG one unlocks Epona.
