@WackyChu I wouldn’t say that hoyoverse meant for darker skinned toned characters to be weaker than average, it’s just we don’t have enough dark skinned toned characters in game. If we get more and they are still weaker than normal, then maybe hoyo is trying to tell us smth… but until then.. 🤷♀

Oh my gosh YES. Hoyo knew exactly how to introduce Kazuha. Like, not only is he this smooth, suave character, but the timing of his introduction was excellent. Right after 1.4 and the disastrous reunion with the Abyss twin, I met this charming character who just has this really calming vibe somehow. For some reason, I feel like he'd give the most comforting hugs.

My impression of al haitham went from “zhongli is superior” to “he’s got an attractive voice” to “man this guy is so annoying ugh” back to “zhongli is superior”. I legit only liked his voice and that was for a very short amount of time 😂. Zhongli will always be my favourite hands down.

hot take: kaveh's personality is great. i got him while i was trying to get candace (instead i got ganyu, 3 fischls, and multiple weapons) and he's really nice and polite and that kinda got me. his beginning ascension line literally thanks you for it and i was like: WAIT WHAT COME AGAIN NOBODY ELSE DOES THAT ACTUALLY MAN THANK YOU SO MUCH and he's too nice and polite for it to all be overlooked by the always forgetting his keys thing.

Kazuha's the most likeable character for me. He's a capable man, reliable and he's loyal. But the thing i love about him is he's a man of his words. never giving up on what he believes. And his willingness to sacrifice his self in danger to protect someone is a cherry on top for me.

Al Haitham S Tier for me. When I first saw him I thought he was interesting and as we saw more of him I wanted him to be playable. Then we got him in 3.4 and I was barking so much. I saved like mad to get him and I used my guaranteed that I lost on Childe to get him. He's very handsome and I too am attracted to intelligent and calm individuals. My sister is a huge fan of Kaveh and considers him S Tier for herself.

alhaitham and kaveh are my recent S-tiers 😏 a recent ship that i can't get enough of. i just think that i'm such a sucker for nerds stuck in super hot bodies lmao though i will say i did start playing for zhongli, so in my book he's always an S-tier. like i wish i could look at zhongli for the first time again, my jaw literally dropped when i saw him skjubfsiu for the girls, dehya is my S-tier, i fear i never got over girls with really thick, smudged eyeliner 😫 i also LOVE rosaria, like the hold that woman has on me in insane. she reminds me of this one art i saw of a nun holding a gun with bodies around her looking badass and i'm just in love. though for roasaria, i also fear i never got over cold, possessive, protective girls

Kaeya is S tier for me. I was a Kaeya main from day one and have never wavered. And while I love Zhongli, my heart truly belongs to Albedo. My short king. He has the voice, he has the beautiful eyes, he has the attitude and he has those damn shorts. Albedo wearing his shorts but no leggings underneath makes the albedo stans go feral😂

I 100% agree about Zhongli, although while I guess he can be a gilf due to some grandpa vibes, you don’t get that as much with the original Chinese version. Peng Bo (who’s also one of the VA directors)’s voice is more smooth and rich than the deep, slightly “older”-sounding cadence of the English Zhongli VA. Personally, I think it adds a lot to his hotness; in fact, a lot of the original Chinese VAs added so much charm to their character for me personally. 😆

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of the Wanderer outfit and its symbolism, but good lord he has no right to look that hot in those red, black, purple, patterns. There was just _something_ in that colour palette, it was on another level.

I wouldn't really even be able to do this ranking lol. Because I'm not usually into the hot characters (Alhaitham however....he...can get a pass...) I'm into the pretty boys who have at least some level of cuteness/femininity in their designs.... So my idea of "hot" is _VERY_ different since the hotter/sexier they are the less I'm usually interested. I can sometimes look at a guy and acknowledge that they would be considered hot but I'm generally not interested myself....again...Alhaitham can get a pass...

Same, a character's "sex appeal" is usually the last reason I'll like them. Especially the female characters cause I'm so used to hot women being shoved in my face, especially in the video game industry, that hotness just makes them kinda blurry to me in terms of rememerability. But give me some social awkwardness or some other quirkiness along with just the right amount of cute/pretty and a caring heart and you got me for life. I will love Albedo to the end, lol. He's just so soft with Klee, how can I not?

He's the reason I started playing to begin with because I was interested in a homonculus character. I'm pretty far down the aro/ace spectrum so I empathize a lot with character's who have no idea how to human or who just don't get the drama of human relationships but are still fascinated by humanity.

@@EternalSoulAngel Yeah, as someone who's... _SOMEWHERE_ on the aro/ace spectrum (anime and video game characters are like the only noticeable exceptions) that's exactly why I was curious 😂 I saw someone who reminded me of myself and wondered how they would function in a relationship because I thought that maybe it might be kind of like how I would function in a relationship and was curious.

I'm glad Heizou got the credit he deserved. Loved him from the moment I got him (this was long before I stepped foot in inazuma and far before I could do his dedicated story quest thing) and haven't looked back since. I just started getting into genshin and began bingewatching ur vids (I haven't even downloaded it yet cause of school finals so I'm stuck researching abt it through yt and google 😭). Don't even remember how this hyperfixation started, esp since I rarely play games, but I do know that 90% of it has to do with the gorgeous characters. I soon made heizou my fav (and thoma my second) but quickly discovered that he's not very popular in terms of content or comments. When I rewatched ur vids (to replay his parts LOL), u could not believe how happy I was when u specifically said that u liked heizou and not just in one but several vids. Love that u give him the appreciation that he deserves!!

Jean and Eula are, and always will be my absolute upper SSS tier, with Zhongli aiding them... Eula, for the dancing, her personality, design, the thigh-highs, just ALL make me weak. For Jean, its the ruffles, of the button down under the underbust vest, that just gets me SO WEAK. Plus, women in fancy business attire with PANTS just sends me. Agree with all your S-tier choices, although I might have included a couple others, notably Dehya and Eula. A few surprise placements, but nothing I egregiously disagreed with, outside of characters I have a bias against (Xiao, Wanderer).

For the Men my S tiers are Alhatiam and Diluc based on looks alone but i LOVE my man Kazuha for the personality and looks. I have a thing for the soft spoken samurai who are badasses in battle. For the women my S tiers are Raiden and Candace. Ive always thought them gorgeous.
