Bid Ed, One of Google Algo's is where you are searching from. So that may have something to do with it.However, Here are a few things I would do today: 1- Find local citations (try googling " City + Directories ) and see if you can get some more local citations. 2- Make sure your powerful citations (Yelp,Manta, Merchant circle...etc) are all perfect 3- Go to links management dot com and get some links for your keywords Let me know how that works for you...All the best!

Thank you for your videos, one idea to save you time 17:11 If you add all those information into your Footer, you don't have to deal with adding the same information to each page repeatedly. This will allow you to add more valuable information in the body of your page. Google hates duplicate content.

What this tutorial shows is exactly right, but just in theory because for instance when I look for Drones services interestingly the first in the list is a business without website, nor photos or reviews, it actually doesn't have any citations. It's not even claimed or verified! How on earth is this possible?

Hey Nat, Great question...I do not. I don't like forwarding tracking #'s for the reason that I want local #'s on their website cause it's a valuable signal (I know there is a workaround for that but I forgot it) the other thing is most clients stay with me. If they leave they will notice business falling off.

Hello Mindsaw, how do you keep clients paying when you have done a one-time job? Why would their rankings start to dip? How do I justify on-going payments? It would help with my confidence to know this when talking to others.

@@yvonco because that business' competition continues to add things to their GMB site, and your client will drop out if you don't keep up. Google wants to see activity on the GMB site, so add some photos or videos each month, add reviews (well have customers do it), add more citations.

Great video! One of the best SEO videos i saw this year. But i went on the website and saw that this page doesnt exist anymore... Are these techniques still valid for maps seo? Can i ask about the category links, where do they take a visitor after the click? I mean, are those categories actually our services page? Thanks a lot :)

Hey Tom, Thank you for the kind words! The client decided to take over his own website (himself) I'm sorry I choose him to use an an example. He ruined my whole shit...lol anyway...The category links take you to pages you need to build for that category. These are the categories in Google My Business. You need to create a page for each GMB category. Thanks again!

So you have 4 different pages, that are linked 2 times from this location page? Is that right? And, are those "category" pages, actually the pages for your services?? Great Video, You mentioned that getting the photographer which cost a 4/5 hundred dollars - the photographer can then verify with Google that your a real business - ( how much extra juice does this add to the GMB) Is there any proof that it's worth investing that type of money. I ask as its a hard sell to recommend a client to invest in it, so need to be able to advise on why it is worth the investment.

Hey Pin, You can have the client use their cell and create their own Virtual tour using Google Street view and uploading to GMB. I do not have "Proof" that getting a Google trusted photographer definitely works but I did hear that from a Google insider.

Big Mike, That looks like a Gibson or Epiphone! Link to both...Don't link too many links to maps cause Google will remove. Go to Fiverr and find a "Maps Embeds" seller. Map embeds def. help:)

Having said that, though (alert: cranky bit ahead)... 2:30 "If you push F12 you'll see what the mobile version of your site looks like". Nope. Well...on your type of computer, with your browser, yes. But what ARE those? It matters and you don't say. The viewer doesn't have (or even know) your setup. And, at least in this video, you didn't mention "with Firefox on a Windows PC" or whatever. "Do x to get y result" ALWAYS requires clarification of "when you're using z" or "in circumstance z". /rant ...but I'm confident the rest of the vid will be awesome and oopsy-free.

When creating citation links I know it's important to have the same nap but do the descriptions on the citation links I create have to be unique or can they all be the same. I'm worried if I have the same descriptions on my citations it will be seen as duplicate content by Google but it would make my life much easier to have the same descriptions on my citations for a particular website!

Great Question! When you create "City Pages" Brooklyn Dentist office Bronx Dentist Office ETC You can use the same exact content...Google understands that the content. In regards to duplicate content on citations, I'm going to go with the same theory "It doesn't matter" However please research it (I've used the same content)

Create an areas we serve page and create a page for each city you serve. You need to show Google you are the expert in that city for your service and you could rank.

Hi, I tried to sent you an email as well: Some of the maps is service provider and the address is hiding 1) Once I tried to build the google map with driving direction I not find the business on the map only show business that have visible address. Ok, So let's say you bought ABCplumbing.com 1010 Main street Los angeles California and now you want to rank it it for New York City you would need to change the registra (godaddy,netsol...etc) whois information. Hope that helped

Hi Isiah, Yes...in order to rank a website the domain needs a "trust factor" (go to Majesticseo.com to check your domain trust factor)...Best if you can get a clean (Non porn,non gambling,non spam domain with a trust factor already built in....check fiverr.com tell them you need a clean " Lawyer domain" or whatever industry you are building for)

You can actually submit a change on that business' GMB page "Submit an Edit". Just type in their real business name and leave off the keywords. This will reset your competitors GMB and give you an honest chance to rank above them in the 3 pack. Cheers!

i went to there site www.faztecind.com/ i don't see pages on there site for near by places and how you linked out to other places i just wanted to look at it couldn't find the page also in the footer, did you delete it for reason ?.

Hey Anas, We only did the SEO on the website (We did not design it). The client decided to "improve the look" of the website and ruined a lot of the SEO...This is what happens when clients think they know what they need.

Quantum Field Again, rent a virtual office for 100 a month somewhere in your town. If you want to rank local google needs to know your city.
