Ranking my favorite characters who are/were the main villains: I didn’t play the game with Hondun, so no thoughts about him. 1. Book 1 Zuko: rooted for him 2. Amon: felt bad, but perhaps bloodbending in LOK is a little too OP 3. Jianzhu: 4. Yun: felt bad 5. Unalaq: appreciated him for his strategist side 6. Kuvira: 7. Zhao: love to make fun of him 8. Azula: yes you are seeing this right. She is this low on my list. 9. Ozai: appreciate a big bad villain. Not every villain needs to have a tragic backstory. 10. The Red Lotus: it’s quite known I believe on this Aangmazing podcast how I feel about them

Great list, I love that Zuko is at the top. Shawn didn't even want Zuko on the lust.

@@AvatarTheLastPodcasters I put Ozai low on the list even though I praised about him being a big bad is because he’s abusive and toxic.

@@AvatarTheLastPodcasters Yeah. I don’t think she’s an irredeemable monster but she’s not exactly an innocent who haven’t done anything wrong. I don’t want a reconciliation with Azula, Mai and Ty Lee, but Azula needs to have other friends after Spirit in the Temple comic.

A proper dark avatar should've been a combination of all the main villains from each ATLA/LOK universe in terms of skills, stats, attributes, and abilities. If he also had energybending, I see him being an atla equivalent of Shang Tsung, for it'd be a way on how he'd gain all elements in the polar opposite way as Wan and at the reverse order of the avatar cycle. I picture Ozai as this type of dark, but instead of Ozai fusing with Vaatu, Ozai IS Vaatu. It was Vaatu who manipulated Sozin into planning his conquest and orchestrated the whole war. He later managed to escape his tree prison with the assistance of Iroh's mother, Ilah, but at the temporary cost of his dark power and status. Just as Sozin's comet arrives by the end of summer, Harmonic Convergence arrives by the end of Fall.
